Overseers serve as the extremely ferocious, well-armed, and well-equipped supersoldiers of the Dominatus. Based on the most powerful warrior races of the Gigaquadrant and enhanced biologically and cybernetically by the Tyranny's nightmarish procedures, and trained since birth, the Overseers were given some of the best equipment that the Tyranny had to offer and originally used to police their ever expanding empire. During the Great Tyranny War, they were used as frontline troops where they began a reign of terrors on the battlefield with fearsome shows of power and intimidation. Despite this, they suffered extreme casualties due to their constant use on the front and attrition and their numbers were reduced during the Mirus Campaign. In response to this, the remaining Overseers saw less deployments during the Mirus Campaign and were given even more individual attention so as to make each one an even more fierce force to fight. However, whenever Overseers were deployed, they struck fear into their enemy's hearts and often (but not often enough) accomplished almost impossible tasks against incredible odds.

During the late stages of the Mirus Campaign, due to the Ares Initiative, the Overseers were given yet more enhancements and even better equipment. These accelerated their mutation and made them even more unstable, though gave them a significant enhancement to their power. The last Overseers were considerably more powerful than the first and functioned as aces up the sleeves of the last Dominatus commanders rather than the more expendable but less powerful shocktroopers of the early stages of the Great Tyranny War. After the fall of the Tyranny, the Overseers saw their numbers utterly decimated. From a peak of having hundreds of thousands of Overseers to millions for the largest Overseer legions, their numbers had shrunk to several hundred to a thousand at the conclusion of the battle for Demogorgon Prime. They met many different fates - many were tried as war criminals and either escaped, were killed, or locked away. Others were snuck out by private military companies who wanted to make use of them as mercenaries, some eventually ending up in states that antedate the Tyranny's fall. Others joined the empires of their unenhanced races as was the case of the Brazen Butchers and the Caltraxa Guard. It is estimated that only a few dozen to several hundred of each Overseer Legion survive to the current day, with their numbers diminishing with each passing year.

OriginsEdit

For a very long time, the weakness of the Drakodominatus Tyranny, exacerbated by the Dominatus has been the lack of people who were able to oversee slaves, armies and their colonies, simply because of how the Dominatus were very spread out. They knew that they could not trust lesser slaves to this simply because they did not have the strength or the will in order to do what needed to be done in order to keep the order in the Tyranny assuming the loyalty chips failed. The solution to this perplexed Tyranny scientists for a very long time until they finally found a solution, the Overseer program. Each overseer was to be a single baby taken from one of the famous warrior races from all across the Gigaquadrant, specifically to be taken from the womb of the mother during an invasion or an abduction, as the program would only work with newborns. Each newborn, once taken, would have to be subjected to intense biological engineering once abducted, tailor made to their system in order to enhance strength and intelligence as well as genetically hardcoded servility to the Dominatus. This was done through the Ultima Servillis serum, a variant of the Ultima serum used to turn the Drakodominatus into the Dominatus.

Each Overseer would then be placed inside a special program at Stanbridge, where education of Dominatus from ages 0 to 6 happens, much like the curriculum for normal Dominatus. They would then be placed in Camvard, where Dominatus Betas were educated after Stanbridge, again in a special program. Due to this, overseers have had some hand in Tyranny weapon's development, not just Tyranny weapon usage. They would then be put into some active combat duty as well as overseeing the use of slaves. From then on, more overseers would be created from their genetic template via the process of cloning. They are then trained for multiple years on the Overseer citadels in ways that while ostensibly are based on the educations that the overseers Dynasts themselves got, are susceptible to the idiosyncrasies of each overseer legion. After that, from their genetic template would come other overseers who they could telepathically control, assuming they were of the same race, be controlled. For more information on this process, refer to Database TRA.

These Overseers would then be disseminated throughout the Tyranny in order to keep the order and police Tyranny worlds, as they would each also have robots to command as well, supplementing their numbers, they would control the slaves and enforce the will of the Tyranny and do things so as to increase the efficiency of the slaves, who they could tap into with the control chips and also physically. They were to be the ones who oversaw the slaves of the Tyranny through any means possible, they are the overseers.

RecruitmentEdit

Non-template Overseers were created using a process combining cloning, traditional training, and genetic enhancement. While clones could be produced on a number of worlds, they could only be trained and enhanced on the Overseer citadels due to the rareness of technology. Overseers received their enhancements in multiple stages, getting their first preparatory enhancements (for accelerated growth) at birth with myriad minor enhancement stages as well as 2 major enhancement stages.

Overseers were educated in the arts of war but given some background in culture and science as well - they were not to serve just as the Tyranny's enforcers but the Tyranny's new alien citizens who had been taken under the fold of the Dominatus. In this way, they were educated in some of the subjects that the Dominatus were educated in, leading some amongst their number to adapt a more cultured approach to the brutality and sadism that such a role entailed.

Overseers were given training in marksmanship, unarmed combat, and dueling like all other soldiers in the Gigaquadrant. In addition to this they were indoctrinated from birth in the fanatical devotion to the Tyranny and the admiration for all it's ideals. They were taught that arrogance and a lust for power would be what compelled them on to victory and that pain was something to be ignored. Willpower was formed and tested by forced torture sessions and training casualties were commonplace even before the major augmentations.

The first major phase of augmentation often claimed the lives of 33% of the candidates and granted them the vast majority of the Overseer's tremendous physical abilities. Overseers were given more training to get them acclimated to their new powers and abilities then given the second major phase of augmentation, which claimed the lives of around 66% of surviving candidates. This granted the Overseers their telepathy, enhanced reflexes, enhanced intelligence, and the bonding to the symbiote that allowed them to wear their armor as a second skin.

At this point they were to be given more training, with those who showed promise in tactical thinking being sent to officer academies. Upon reaching the age of 18, they are then given to their legion and deployed.

RanksEdit

There are 5 ranks of Overseers, the most elite of which are called the Overlords, leading them is the Dynast which serves as the template from which Pverseers were cloned and was the original abducted one. The Overlords are all of the same size as the Dynast, though the Dynast possesses more experience. Particularly powerful Overlords are named Praetors, and are second only to the Dynasts in power. The next rank is the Imperators, which are 95% the size of the Overlords and correspondingly weaker. The next after that are the Centurions who are 90% the size of the Overlords and finally the generic Legionnaires who are 85% of the size of the Overlords. Each Overseer type is collectively called a legion or creed, and these legions compete with each other to for the prized position of the Tyrant's Own, or the legion that directly receives orders from the Tyrants. This legion was the Sons of Hedon for Tyrant Medusa and the Nocturnal Legion for Tyrant Abaddon. Stahl reversed this process during the Mirus Campaign in order to get the Overseers to cooperate instead of compete so they could used combined arms to compensate for their individual shortcomings.

Overseer LegionnaireEdit

  • Name - Legionnaire
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 85% of Dynast Size
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Zeus Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - High - Very High

While these are the most common and inexperienced of the overseers, Overseer legionnaires are still a force to be reckoned with. With special forces level training and extremely advanced Tyranny armor and armament as well as the massive array of biomechanics enhancements they are born with, even the most rookie of overseers constitute the archetypal super soldier. They are armed and armored with standard albeit extremely powerful and resilient armor and armament which are considered vehicle-scale by many other races. They are generally capable of dominating enemy infantry and battling as equals against enemy super soldiers of enemy special forces as well as defeating the majority of enemy vehicles. In order to take down Overseer Legionnaires, infantry must generally use dedicated armor piercing ammo or extremely advanced ordnance in order to penetrate and defeat Overseers. Light vehicle armaments are as effective against Overseers as normal infantry armaments are against other normal infantry.

The smallest legions (such as the Hounds of Kuzusimashu) have several hundred thousand legionnaires while the largest (such as the Sons of Hedon) have about six hundred thousand, with around 20% of this number being given the Primus designation and considered for enhancement and promotion to the status of Centurion.

Overseer CenturionEdit

  • Name - Centurion
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 90% of Dynast Size
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Osiris Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Very High

Overseer Centurions - More experienced and thus larger, stronger, and more dangerous than Overseer Legionnaires, Overseer Centurions are noticeably more powerful than Overseer Legionnaires. Given access to rarer and more powerful equipment than Overseer Legionnaires, Overseer Centurions are fully capable of drawing on an arsenal that allows them to engage essentially any enemy. With armor that can easily withstand direct hits from enemy light vehicles and laugh off even dedicated AP rounds from enemy infantry, these Overseers are extremely resilient and typically require anti-armor explosive ordnance to deal with. Centurions have access to dedicated anti tank weapons capable of defeating enemy heavy armor and dedicated anti infantry weapons capable of decimating even enemy heavy infantry as well as a multitude of other weapons in between.

A legion typically has anywhere from ten thousand to several tens of thousand Centurions, with around 10% being given the Primus designation.

Overseer ImperatorEdit

  • Name - Imperator
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 95% of Dynast Size
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Odin Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Very High - Extremely High

Overseer Imperators - Overseer Imperators are extremely powerful and experienced Overseers with levels of power approaching those of the Dominatus. In most battles, they serve to either coordinate the Tyranny's efforts or break the back of the enemy. They have full access to the arsenals of the legion, though they do not have access to custom and unique gear. However, this does not make them any less a threat, as it is reported that the fully charged armor of a Overseer Imperators can withstand direct hits from enemy armor with said Overseer retaliating with concentrated firepower that defeated the offender in question. Overseer Imperators can laugh off hits from all but the most powerful of infantry scale weapons and can defeat essentially any enemy ground target aside from the heaviest of enemy super-heavy vehicles.

There are often several hundred Imperators in any given legion, with the Sons of Hedon and the Noctrunal Legion boasting the most, with a variable minority being given the Primus designation.

Overseer OverlordEdit

  • Name - Overlord
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 100% of Dynast Size
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Cronos Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely High

Overseer Overlords - The rarest and most experienced Overseers, with power comparable to the Dominatus themselves, Overseer Overlords are the most powerful of the Overseers and are only seen on the front lines in the most intense battles. Overlords each have uniquely created and artifice equipment that embody some of the most advanced aspects of Dominatus technology. Single Overlords have been known to turn the tide of battle, and serve as avatars of the Tyranny's power and serve as the Tyranny's ultimate servants. Combining extreme amounts of experience, extreme amounts of skill and ability as well as technology that seems magical to most, Overlords are almost unstoppable. Luckily for the enemies of the Tyranny, even the largest of Overseer legions possess at most 2 dozen overseer overlords.

Overseer PraetorEdit

  • Name - Praetor
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 100% of Dynast Size
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Custom
  • Armor – Custom
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely High - Ultra High

Overseer Praetors are the most powerful of the Overlords and have even more powerful equipment and skills, with 3 to 5 of them within each Overseer creed. The rank of Praetor confers with it with a specially crafted ring depicting the wearer's greatest victories engraved upon gold and an inscription reading "To my masters, your will be done. To my foes, your lives are forfeit". Praetors are given the most extensive enhancements and are equipped with custom weapons and armor made specifically for them by the greatest of Dominatus smiths using their most advanced technology. Considered around as dangerous as Dominatus Champions or Warmasters, the Praetors are infamous amongst the ranks of the ADC for their sheer prowess in battle as well as their almost unspeakable cruelty.

The Praetors function as the second commands of the Overseer legions, often functioning as commanders, duelists and as emissaries. Each creed has a special name for its Praetors. The Sons of Hedon had the Court of the Lotus, the Subjugators of Cravidor had the Osmium Regency, the Praetorians of Azuris had the Leviathan Tetrarchy, the Nocturnal Legion had the Order of the Eclipse, the Steel Reapers had the Machine-Lords, the Heralds of Mosivam had the Celestial Council to name a few. Within these groups, the Overseers have various, Overseer creed-specific titles depending on their differing abilities and predilections - for example, within the Osmium Regency, Agamemnon was named Regent-Castellan meaning that he was in charge of coordinating the Legion's activities with the Tyranny's synthetic auxiliary and given the responsibility of planning entire campaigns, Ajax was named Regent-Commander meaning that he was in charge of their Osmium Guard, and Achilles was given the title Regent-Champion, meaning that he was relieved of command duties and could focus solely on duelling. Similarly, within the Sons of Hedon, Gomorrah was named Lord-Commander of the Lotus-Eaters, with similar duties to Ajax, Sodom was named Lord-Champion , with similar duties to Achilles, with Baal and Attar both being named Lord-Marshal and Lord-Castellan respectively, the former being appointed to commanding units solely composed of the Sons for use in deep-strike missions and the latter, appointed to coordinating the Sons as a combined arms unit. Interestingly, Moloch was appointed to the position of Potentate-Lord, a position similar to that held by the Overseer's Dynasts and essentially one in which he had ultimate authority over the other praetors, though in writing only a primus inter pares, and only superseded by Hedon before the latter's defection.

The only Overseer more senior than the Praetors is the Overseer Dynast or Template - the original overseer and the single most powerful entity in the legion. These Overseers are entrusted with directing the general direction of the legion, and doing whatever is judged necessary. They are given extreme freedom in deciding how to prosecute operations, functioning autonomously unless otherwise commanded by the Tyrant of a member of High-Command to follow a certain battle-plan.

Special UnitsEdit

Mortem MilitumEdit

  • Name - Mortem Militus
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 20 meters (Nocturnal Legion Variant), 23.2 meters (Sons of Hedon Variant)
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Mortem Class Exoskeleton
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extreme Power
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely High - Ultra High
  • Notable Users - Nocturnal Legion, Sons of Hedon

The Mortem Militum are Overseers equipped with additional massive exoskeletons four times their height which they wear and interface with through their normal armors. Developed at dying days of the extragalactic campaigns of Attero Dominatus and deployed during the Mirus Campaign, these suits were originally fitted and given to the two legions which had been given the honor of being called the Tyrant's Own - the Nocturnal Legion, the Tyrant's Own of Abbadon Heimdall and the Sons of Hedon, the Tyrant's Own of Medusa Heimdall. Exoskeletons for the Subjugators of Cravidor, the Tyrant's Own of Castigon Heimdall never went into production - their design was unfinished when the Overseer Citadel of the Subjugators was taken by the Anti-Dominatus Coalition. The exoskeletons that the Tyrant's Own wear enable these Overseers to engage all but the most massive of enemy vehicles and dominate essentially every other foe. Due to their advancement and sophistication, these exoskeletons are exceedingly rare and generally only accessible by Overseers of the Imperator Primus Rank and above. These exoskeletons also enable Overseers to engage in space combat and enable them to launch assaults on enemy ships and installations in the dark of space. This is made possible through an advanced array of thrusters and antigravity generators located throughout the suit. They are armed with a massively oversized melee weapon and a ranged weapon system. The Mortem Militum are capable of periods of flight and are also armored much like Heavy Dominatus Vehicles. They are typically not deployed individually but instead in units of three or five.

Eques FerrumEdit

  • Name - Equites Ferrum
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier Cavalry
  • Length - 10 meters (Nocturnal Legion Variant), 16 meters (Sons of Hedon Variant), 7 meters (Horsemen of Destiny Variant)
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Eques Class Exoskeleton
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extreme Power
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely High
  • Notable Users - Nocturnal Legion, Sons of Hedon, Horsemen of Destiny

With the exception of the Horsemen of Destiny, the majority of Overseers move by foot. The Eques Ferrum are the cavalry forces of the Overseers and are generally only populated by Overseers of the Imperator rank and above. As of now, the only known Overseer legions which field them are the Nocturnal Legion and the Sons of Hedon, who began breeding them at the start of Attero Dominatus and began deploying them during the Mirus Campaign. The Sons used genetically modified and cybernetically enhanced Sarshaan which were grown to twice their size and given the ability to breath fire. The Nocturnal Legion ride genetically and cybernetically modified Koda, first of which was Barghest, mount to Nosferatu Hexus. All strains of such monsters gained monstrous amounts of strengths which gave them the force to turn over and crush main battle tanks. In addition to this, they have armor plate surgically grafted and attached to their skin in an extremely refined manner which allows them to take large amounts of punishment. These monsters are ridden by some of the most elite members of their Legions and together constitute an extremely powerful force.

Domino BestiaEdit

  • Name - Dominio Bestia
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Supersoldier Cavalry
  • Length - 6 meters (Sons of Hedon variant)
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Bestia Class Exoskeleton
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Extreme Power
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Very High
  • Notable Users - Sons of Hedon

The Dominatus took note that many of the warrior races that they had based the overseers off also had fearsome beasts of war on their worlds which when enhanced could also be made into weapons of war. The first overseers to start breeding such animals were the Sons of Hedon, who took formidable War Krann, and bred and enhanced them to become even more fearsome. Doubling in all of their dimensions, these new enhanced Krann, controlled by a telepathic link with an Overseer of at least the Centurion rank are capable of extreme agility and speed as well as an extremely sensitive senses which allow them to track down stragglers. Cybernetically enhanced and with armor plate surgically grafted to their skin in an extremely refined, and with enhancements that give them the ability to tear through armor plate, they are equally adept at attacking enemies head on and finding and ripping apart stragglers. Capable of using their new fangs to deliver either an extremely corrosive acid or an extremely potent neurotoxin, these Krann are easily capable of ripping tank crews from their tanks or dragging escaping enemies to imprisonment.

Gigas MetallumEdit

  • Name - Gigas Metallum
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Overseer Armored Forces
  • Category - Heavy Land
  • Armament - Heavy Anti-Surface
  • Armor – Heavy Vehicle Armor, Mesh Deflector Shielding
  • Locomotion - Antigravity
  • Capabilities - Extreme Power, Troop Deployment
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Very High (Vehicle Scale)
  • Notable Users - Varies; usually Nocturnal Legion, Sons of Hedon, Subjugators of Cravidor, Steel Reapers, Fiends of Cruon and Blademasters of Hag'mar'ah

Overseer Legions began carrying their own armored forces. Overseers complained about the lack of dedicated armored vehicles to ferry them into battle and as a result received the Marauder Class Overseer Fighting Vehicle, a monstrous tank and infantry fighting vehicle which could both ferry 50 4-6 meter tall Overseers into battle or 20 6-8 meter tall Overseers into battle. These Marauders were piloted by Overseers with large amounts of AI support and participated in battle both as tanks and as overseer carriers. While they were as capable of dominating armored battles as Warlord Class Heavy Tanks, all of the added subsystems, not to mention the use of antigravity to make the vehicle move faster gave this vehicle an extremely high cost which prevented it from reaching mainstream use. In fact, it is rare enough that only Overseers of the Primus Centurion rank and above are permitted to enter training for some of the tank's roles while Overseers of the Overseer rank are needed in order to pilot the tank. Overseers alone are considered as powerful fighting forces and these tanks are considered as extremely effective in armored combat. Combined, they form an extremely powerful combination.

Furore AereoEdit

  • Name - Furore Aereo
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Overseer Armored Forces
  • Category - Heavy Air
  • Armament - Heavy Anti-Surface, Heavy Anti-Air
  • Armor – Heavy Vehicle Armor, Mesh Deflector Shielding
  • Locomotion - Antigravity
  • Capabilities - Extreme Power, Troop Deployment
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Very High (Vehicle Scale)
  • Notable Users - Varies; usually Nocturnal Legion, Sons of Hedon, Steel Reapers, Praetorians of Azuris, Harbingers of Agony and Beholders of Oculon

In the same line as the Gigas Metallum, Overseers clamored for alternative ways of deployment as opposed to drop pods. They received the Hellfire Class Heavy Dropship, a massive dropship capable of carrying 100 4-6 meter Overseers into battle, 30 6-8 meter Overseers into battle, or 10 8-10 meter Overseers into battle while laying down a withering hail of fire that can decimate anything from enemy super-heavy units to enemy structures. Like the Gigas Metallum, only Overseers of the Primus Centurion rank and above are permitted to enter training for use of this vehicle while Overseer Imperators are or more higher ranked individuals are needed to command the Hellfire. Despite their effectiveness, they are only used as the primary method of deployment of an Overseer force in battle during the most intense engagements. However, despite their cost the Dominatus still consider them extremely effective as the combination of heavy dropships opening fire on an enemy with extreme firepower and dropping off their dangerous payload are terrifying for any enemy.

HecatoncheiresEdit

  • Name - Hecatoncheires
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Super Supersoldier
  • Length - Varies
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Varies
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Immense Power
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely - Ultra High (Ultra High for most developed)
  • Notable Users - Titans of Corpulus, Steel Reapers, Impalers of Skali'Draz and Anathema of Xenomortis

Overseer Creeds such as the Titans of Corpulus, Steel Reapers, Impalers of Skali'Draz and Anathema of Xenomortis have natural progressions in that they can grow larger or transfer to larger bodies naturally. For example, after accumulating enough victims, Titans of Corpulus can grow larger and turn into new forms such as massive slugs or floating blobs of mass that subsume and decay everything they touch. Impalers of Skali'Draz can grow to more massive forms after consuming enough technology or mass. Steel Reapers, after gaining sufficient experience, can easily transfer themselves to larger forms which their Dominatus masters create for them. Anathema of Xenomortis can absorb the necrotized bodies of their fallen enemies into their own and use it to create new layers of ossified armor or spout natural fleshy weaponry to batter new foes with. Each of these forms are easily much more powerful than their original forms and are capable of much more damage. The only Overseers who have the capability to grow into Heacatoncheires are of the Imperator Primus Rank and above, and almost all of the Imperator Primus and above of these Overseer creeds take this option.

ImmolavitEdit

  • Name - Immolavit
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Super Supersoldier
  • Length - Varies
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Varies
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Immense Power
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely - Ultra High (Ultra High for most developed)
  • Notable Users - Nocturnal Legion

One of the most controversial results of the Ares Initiative, the Immolavit are overseers enhanced a second time by the new and experimental and expensive Mortis serum, which gives select, volunteer overseers who survive the enhancement process an immense amount of raw power rivaling that of Dominatus Betas. However, due to the instability of the formula, they are cursed with a drastically shortened lifespan - one of a single year and a significant fatality rate amongst even experienced and powerful overseer. Furthermore, only the more experienced amongst the Overseers - those of the Imperator rank and above have a chance of surviving the augmentation process, which means that each attempt at creating an Immolavit is a risky endeavor which at the very least, takes away a prime officer from the Overseer legion in the long run, and at worst, does so for no effect. The Immolavit are deployed behind enemy lines to accomplish objectives, disrupt logistics, cause as much panic as possible and spearhead many of the Tyranny's assaults. Immolavit are honored immensely amongst the Overseer legions due to their voluntary sacrifice for the Tyranny, and the amount of Immolavit is constrained not by the amount of volunteers, but by the resources needed for the enhancement process. The Immolavit are given special and extremely advanced equipment for their operations and are either assigned to the command of the Archostrategon as strategic assets. They often work closely with military intelligence, striking at targets of opportunity, and often participating in suicide missions. Immolavit are always deployed in pairs.

DamnatisEdit

  • Name - Damnatis
  • Race - Varies
  • Role - Essence Supersoldier
  • Length - Varies
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Varies
  • Melee Weaponry - Varies
  • Armor – Varies
  • Special Equipment - Varies
  • Abilities - Immense Power
  • Galactic Deployment - Varies
  • Relative Threat - Extremely - Ultra High (Ultra High for most developed)
  • Notable Users - Varies; usually Prophets of Dra'erath, Scions of Crogki, Eternal Guard, Abominations of Azathoth and Triarchs of Anubis

The most controversial result of the Ares Initiative and the Set Initiative, the Damnatis are volunteer Overseers who have manifested some form of psychic essence talent. While it gives these Overseers psychic power proportional with their essence potential, the raw power of the essence inside them is one that consumes both the body and mind of those Overseers. The lesser of the Damnatis are often consumed within single battles, and even the most powerful amongst them can only stave off the consuming power of the essence. It is projected that even the most powerful who use those powers on the basis expected of a frontline combat troop can only do so for at most several years before the power consumes themselves. Despite this, virtually all overseers who are tested positive for some substantial form of psychic talent volunteer for this expensive process, with the largest amount coming from the already essence gifted Radeon Overseers - the Prophets of Dra'erath, whose most powerful Damnatis are strong enough to use their essence powers frequently without the risk of destroying themselves in the process. Other recruits are primarily drawn from the Scions of Crogki and the Eternal Guard, while the Abominations of Azathoth and Triarchs of Anubis the also contribute a sizable part. The Damnatis are used as essence troops whenever essence-wielding Sirens from the Synthetic ranks are not enough but when Dominatus from Occult Operations cannot be called upon. They are given special armor designed around enhancing essence using capability and for protecting essence users, and are honored by their Overseer creeds, which while still bearing revulsion towards the use of essence, are more grateful and respectful of the sacrifice made by those who fill the ranks of the Damnatis.

LegionsEdit

Nocturnal LegionnaireEdit

NocturnalLegionnairePortrait
  • Name - Nocturnal Legionnaire
  • Race - Zazane
  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 4.25 - 5 meters
  • Long-Range Weaponry - Two Dark Matter Blasters
  • Melee Weaponry - One Solid Shidium Katana
  • Armor – Alpha Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Antigravity Pack, Invisibility Generator, Fear Dispenser (Aerially dispersed mind altering drug)
  • Supreme Echelon - Court of the Eclipse
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Relative Threat - High

The Nocturnal Legionnaires were the first of the Overseer types to be created. Their template was taken from a world which knew no light and only knew poverty and crime. This Zazane was forged by the Dominatus and the Ultima Servilis serum into a weapon of war, and the reason why the Overseer program was scaled up. Led by said template Nosferatu Hexus, they are a nigh unstoppable force of Zazane supersoldiers created by the Drakodominatus Tyranny. Descending from the night skies in their antigravity packs like bats seeking blood, these frightening shock troops are often the harbingers of a Tyranny attack on well defended worlds. The weapons of these frightening Overseers use a dark energy power source to convert regular matter into unstable dark matter, wich is then released in a powerful burst. With such weaponry availible to them, the Nocturnal Legionnaires are equipped to take anything on. In addition, they are armed with katanas of solid shidium and their natural strength. If there strength, toughness, stature and speed weren't bad enough for an enemy already, they are armed with powerful but maneuverable power armor that is capable of antigravity based flight for prolonged periods of time and can function as stealth gear. Before one goes to sleep, one should look at the skies to see if the Nocturnal Legion is present, for if they are, it will surely be one's last night.

Subjugator of CravidorEdit

SubjugatorOfCravidorPortrait
  • Name - Subjugator of Cravidor
  • Race - Vartekian
  • Type - Supersoldier
  • Height - 6.8 - 8 meters
  • Long-Range Weaponry - One Antimatter Particle Rifle
  • Melee Weaponry - One Energy Halberd
  • Armor - Beta Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Quantum Scrambler
  • Supreme Echelon - Blooded Regency
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Relative Threat - High

With the exception of the Nocturnal Legion, perhaps the most feared of the Overseers types are the Subjugators of Cravidor. As such, these monsterous Vartekians generally tend to form both the backbone and leaders of Tyranny offensives when the Dominatus themselves are not present. Their template is the Vartekian known as Cravidor, originally a Vartekian baby whose parents, who were both retired Vartekian elites, were brutally killed by a surprise attack on a border world by a rapid surprise attack led by Angrus Mortarius himself. He was taken and injected with the Ultima Servillis serum, which changed his physiology to be more akin to the Dominatus. Cravidor excelled in his studies within the Tyranny, especially academically as part of the program. The most scary part of this however, is the people who were cloned off his template. The Subjugators are a very elite force who are armed with particle rifles which catalyze small antimatter reactions guaranteeing massive damage. Though they prefer to fight at range with these weapons, they come equipped with energy halberds to keep foes at length in close combat in addition to large power armor, giving them massive combat capability.

The Grox were always known for their disdain for flesh and their want to go past their biological limitations. This drove them to their quest for technology and the foundation of the Meta Empire. It is also what drove the Tyranny to abduct a newly born Grox during one of their savage revenge attacks on a planet of the Grand Grox Dominion. After a battle in which the Tyranny savaged the Grox fleet through the testing of the Tiamat's secondary and tertiary weapons, along with salvaging and collecting whatever technology that the Grox had, the Tyranny made landfall on the otherwise inhospitable planet below with a massive force of a Dominatus and their own robots. They surged through the planet and eventually found a single Grox infant, cloned in the heat of the battle, and they abducted it. The Ultima Servillis serum was applied, changed the Grox from a puny runt into a mentally superior creature, although not much in comparison to the other Overseers. Additionally, no further psysical changes could be made, as the Grox biology was too frail for the Ultima Servillis to properly work on. The Tyranny thus manually took apart many of his biological parts and replaced them with artificial constructs as the Grox did not meet their specifications for an Overseer. Soon every part of its body was replaced with cybernetic equipment and only some viscera, turning the Grox into a terrifying metal husk. The clones of this template are cyborgs in the same manner, mostly crafted out of metal instead of flesh, and made to function in the most hostile enviornments. They are equipped with bladed knuckles able to slice trough virtually anything, a siege drill and radiation missile launchers to crack open enemy bunkers, and a flamethrower with chemical munitions to exterminate all within. These enhanced Grox can furthermore survive on worlds other lifeforms find habitable, though the radiation their forms emit will soon scour any enviornment clean of life regardless.

The Grimbolsaurians once crusaded for order and for the DCP, to bring an end to chaos and entropy. They are a formidable warrior race, their natural strength only paralleled by their nigh complete technological omnipotence. The Tyranny learned this in its interactions with the DCP and decided that these Grimbolsaurians would be perfect for the Overseer program. Thus, as with all of the templates, Mosivam was abducted from a Grimbolsaurian world, however it was one that belonged to the MSP. Given the Ultima Servillis serum, these formidable warriors were improved even more and Mosivam went through the same process all the other templates did. Needless to say, the Heralds were cloned from Mosivam's genetic template and disseminated throughout the Tyranny. Their weapons are rather unconventional, mainly relying upon subjugating or tearing apart the minds of others. Their anti infantry weapons generally leave men in a state where all they can do is listen to the worlds of the Heralds, any sense of free will or personality already overridden. Through this, they subjugate the enemy or rip apart their minds, leaving them in a vegetative state, an irrecoverable one, without the most powerful medical technology. Their anti vehicle technology are generally electromagnetic pulse cannons and computer virii which override the codes of enemy vehicles, causing them to either turn on their enemies or to blow up as their critical systems commit figurative suicide. This has led to the destruction of quite a few slave revolts as well as the conquest of very many worlds. Wherever the Heralds go, the word of the Tyranny soon becomes law.

The Radeon are known for their rather weak stature as well as their psychic prowess. Dra'Erath was taken from a metropolis where his parents were killed by assassins and he was delivered to the Tyranny. With the Ultima Servillis serum he was made into a physically intimidating being but still maintained his essence capacity and was taken to Tyranny schooling. The Prophets were cloned from his as he was used as a template and formed the basis of the psychic shock troops that the Tyranny use. They manipulate the eddies of essence to visit deadly hellfire upon their enemies as well as baleful lightning. Indeed, all of their weaponry is predicated on the integration of essence and weaponry. These Overseers wield powerful staffs through which they can channel their essence in order to create bolts of lightning, balls of fire or rains of ice. As such, on the battlefield, they create massive psysic storms, obliterating everyone in their path. To meet the prophets is to see the vision of your death come true much before it naturally should.

The Zí-Jittorám are one of the most feared species in the Gigaquadrant, even when disunited, and not given proper weapons. Capable of amazing feats of strength and incredible toughness, these monsters are in their normal stage bad enough already. Zí-Jittorám get more and more powerful as they age, as they transition into an Alpha, which the normal Zí-Jittorám are afraid of, and the Zí-Jittorám elite, which is the apex of Zí-Jittorám strength. When Kuzushimasu, their template was taken from the dead hands of 2 Zí-Jittorám elites, who had in close combat actually managed to kill an unarmed Dominatus as well, the Ultima Servillis serum gave him the powers and stature of an old Elite Zí-Jittorám, and his clones the powers of young Elite Zí-Jittorám. This monstrous force of troops are arguably the best shocktroopers of the Overseers, and are suited in Tyranny power armor and equipment which completely covers their body except for a place where there tongue could come out off for combat. They were also given massive cleavers attached to their gauntlets as well as a motley assortment of military grade axes, voules and others, along with powerful cannonry and weapons. Found at the forefront of many Tyranny offensives, the Hounds are capable of devouring almost any the enemy force.

The Vorgormon were always renowned for their massive fat and corpulence, and the toughness and strength that came with such traits, drawing parallels to the sumo wrestlers of the earlier days of humanity. Now, they have been enhanced into something far more sinister by the Dominatus, and are now fully able to ambulate. They are also carriers of contagion and disease, serving as breeding grounds for weaponized yet biological flies who deliver contagion and destruction throughout the entirety of the battlefield. Furthermore, they serve as the breeding grounds for a variety of worms, who crawl through their fat and viscera and in a symbiotic relationship help regenerate the Titans of Corpulus. These monsters are obsessed with eating all in their path, though in doing so they inevitably spread decay and destruction throughout the battlefield. Their equipment comes in giant suits of disturbingly fleshy power armor to accommodate their obese forms, and they are slow but nearly unable to be stopped. These giants merely walk towards their target with all of their heavy armaments, generally packing artillery cannons that fire powerful shells bursting open with all kinds of filthy sludge. However, because of their genetically engineered nature, the Titans of Corpulus are still quite effective in close combat, carrying with them massive scythes infested with plague and death that necrotize whatever they touch and visit and exquisite death upon their enemies. They are often called "Wormies" by enemy troops because of their slow movement and their worm-infested nature.

The noble Draconis were known once before for their dignity and nobility. Now all that remains of the Star Dragons of Andromeda in these genetically engineered versions are a vestige of their original form. The education of the Tyranny played havoc with the psyche of Hedon, the abducted Draconis and the genetic engineering let through the worst personality faults of his parent's recessive genes, resulting in him becoming an indulgent hedonist, yet also a perfectionist. This trait carries itself in the entirely of the Draconis who were based on him, who indulge themselves in the finest foods and the pleasures of the flesh while still being great artists and architects. In battle, they wear intricate suits of powered armor, tailormade by themselves to match and look perfect with their physique, covered in shimmering gold that moves with their every thrust and step, and is furthermore capable of antigravity based flight. The Sons of Hedon carry with them a disruptor greatsword used for duelling and melee combat, though mainly use sonic-based handcannons that work on the manipulation of particles at the subatomic layer. Depending on the frequency and wavelength, it can be modulated to play havoc with flesh or steel, sending to the brains of the Sons of Hedon pleasure-inducing waves all the while ripping apart targets in an equilibrium of orgasmic ecstasy and agonizing pain.

Serpentine monsters led by their template Pathogis, these Overseers specialize in the art of stealth warfare. Although this may lead one to think that they are especially fragile and weak, this is wrong, as they are perhaps the strongest of all the Overseers, even stronger than the dreaded Abominations of Azathoth or feared Hounds of Kuzushimasu, with only the Fiends of Cruon exceeding them in raw strength. These snake-like supersoldiers, with their massive length, burrow underground before striking, and when the time is right, whether in the middle of squads or right beneath enemy armored vehicles, they spring out with their monstrous kukris and rip into whatever they are attacking in a whirlwind of death. They are further equipped with powerful segmented armor that is perfectly articulated to their movements, as it is adapted to their skin. In addition to this they carry heavy sniper rifles which fire streams of molten metal at incredibly fast speeds at their target, and are easily capable of destroying a tank in a single well-placed shot. These Overseers are also infamous for their ability to deploy anywhere, as an enemy can find their frontline crumbling as the Phantoms come from under the ground to bring them to the afterlife.

The Praetorians are hulking 8 meter tall Overseers made from the Mortalitas, one of the most physically imposing species in the entirety of the Gigaquadrant. These Overseers are used as shocktroopers who often lead an assault due to their tactical skills which are second only to the Beholders of Oculon, as well as their great strength. Unlike many of the large Overseers, these Mortalitas supersoldiers are able to wield powerful long range weaponry, and generally have a long range weapon equipped in the form of a repeating railgun, a sidearm in the form of an energy wave gun as well as a massive energy cutlass for melee combat. They are fully decked out in the armor of an Overseer and are very hard to kill. Covered in shimmering blue, these Overseers are reminiscent of the ocean for many species in appearance, an impression that is quickly dispelled when they are drowned in the raw power of the Praetorians of Azuris.

The Dragowar have been longtime allies of the Tyranny, and are best known for their physical strength, aggressive behavior and very warlike attitude. The Berzerkers of Bruteigon were created after the Tyranny demanded tribute in the form of the Dragowar Warmaster Brutius' newborn son, Cruon. Complying because he saw this as a massive oportunity, Imperator Caligustus agreed, but dared the Domintus to take the child in a show of strength. This was carried out by Dis Brutalis, who adopted the child by War-Imperial tradition after defeating Warmaster Brutius in hand-to-hand combat. Cruon was taken and injected with the Ultima Servillis serum, enhancing not his size but giving him truly monstrous strength and a rage that could only be soothed by forging weapons of war. He and his clones were given massive chainblades and other melee weapons, as well as suits of powered armor. Their combat capacity is further enhanced by a heightened amount of andrenaline produced even for a Dragowar, necessitating brain surgery which restricts these Overseers to only see the targets the Tyranny want destroyed as to avoid too much collateral damage. Ironically this means the Fiends routinely spare large amounts of enemy civilians which the Dominatus want to turn into Biodrones, though certainly not of the Overseers' own design. While the Fiends are not equipped with ranged weaponry as their formidable battle rage prevents them from shooting properly, they do posses a nanite igniter under their tongues which allows them to breath fire. For the Fiends of Cruon it is not enough to merely kill, for they have an insatiable need to also maim and burn, ripping their foes limb from limb and guzzling down upon the viscera.

It is a universal fact that the Loron are some of the best warriors due to their sheer strength and durability. The Dominatus, seeing this potential, saw a potential target for the Ultima Servilis serum and thus abducted a Loron baby for enhancement. This Loron, like all other Overseers, was enhanced with respect to sheer physical power and intellect, not to mention the fact that it also gained tentacles as its mouth as opposed to its more insectoid form. The Abominations of Azathoth are about as tall as the Hounds of Kuzushimasu at 9 meters and are about as frightening as them in close range. The Dominatus were however unable to enhance the accuracy of the Loron, and they were frustrated at the template's inability to learn how to shoot. Thus, these Overseers are given highly advanced shotguns in addition to hyperadvanced analogues to Loron Shankas. They are also unable to harness essence in a functional manner despite their gyronic heritage, and indeed their mere presence dangerously disrupts or nullifies the essence capacities of their foes, which in addition to their less arcane but no less unsettling visage is certain to fill their foes with dread. Nevertheless, the Abominations are some of the most powerful Overseers in terms of physical prowess, and their appearance on the battlefield always has the potential to turn the tide.

The Skittering Annihilators are Tralor who have been infused with the Ultima Servillis serum and are six limbed monsters who skitter across the battlefield in order to search and destroy their enemies. These Overseers have a rather methodical approach to defeating their enemies and prefer to take them out in a sneaky and efficient way as opposed to mounting a frontal assault. It is for this reason that they are able to burrow underground with their legs as well as to dig out holes in order to lay out an ambush for enemies. They have the natural abilities to spew webs that ensnare and slow their foes as well as venom that can kill almost any foe if it enters their bloodstream. They are armed with stasis web launchers held in their lower arms to immobilise their foes, and tipped assegai in their upper to spear them with. These hyperadvanced analogues of polearms are equally effective as stabbing weapons as they are as projectiles, and will magnetically return to the outstretched talons of the Annihilator when thrown. In addition, the multiple limbs of these Overseers mean that they are equipped with a hyperadvanced riot shield in addition to their other armaments. They are an implacable force on the battlefield, as one way or another, they will find a way to execute their directive, to search and destroy.

The Eternal Guard are Mahanayan Overseers who form both the vanguard and the defensive lines of many Tyranny attacks. Clad in armor as black the night, complete with ornate and intricate headdresses to make their figures seem even larger and more powerful, these monsters are armed with an assortment of powerful weaponry. These include the twohanded Beam Katana or Beam Zhanmadao, best suited against hordes of infantry, and the longer and more advanced Beam Podao, specifically designed to dismember larger targets. Both can project a powerful laser capable of cutting through anything given enough time on it's short range function. They can also project massive waves of pure energy over long ranges from either their vertical or horizontal axis, meaning that these Overseers have intimidating long range capability as well. The Fordanta have always been known for their martial honor and their swordfighting ability. When the Dominatus were looking for races to turn into Overseers they found that they could not obtain a Fordanta egg without risking war with the Fordanta, and thus obtained the egg of a Fordanta Secundus, the pre-sapient version of the Fordanta. Needless to say, these heavily mutated monsters are fully sapient now and are blade masters with little compare, wielding eight massive greatswords with relative ease and using them to behead everything in their path. Due to a combination of intense prebattle meditation and a modified lymphatic system that delivers focus-enhancing drugs directly to their brains, the Blademasters of Hag'mar'ah fight with an unnerving calm in the chaos of battle, and can even percieve events in slow motion, giving them incredible reflexes in combat. They are the only Overseers not to come equipped with any sort of ranged weaponry, but due to their ability to chop up projectiles in mid-flight they have no need for it. Servants of the Dominatus, these monsters are often send to kill enemy leaders in one-on-one combat, and are truly a force to be reckoned with.

The Inalton are a race of powerful warriors who have carved their legacy across Borealis, proving themselves against enemies like the Loron, and the Borealis Cobsurtium Network. It is for this reason, as well as their adeptness with gyronic energy that they were chosen to be one of the overseer races by the Tyranny. Crogki's family was one of two was heroes who had enforced retirement upon themselves, and were living on a rather desperate planet. The Aurfaust PMC came and sacked the planet, however the two parents were able to actually dispatch several Dominatus before both of them were killed. From the corpse of the mother was Crogki claimed, and he was subjected to the Ultima Servillis serum, mutating him into an even more incredible supersoldier. He was trained like the others and clones were made from him. In battle, the Scions of Crogki are incredible elusive, making fell use of their gyronic powers as well as short range teleporters that some of them are equipped with. The Scions can appear from nowhere, and in duels, manipulate time, causing a whirlwind of destruction amongst their foes. Their snipers and heavy support units travel rapidly from place to place, bombarding enemy positions before moving again, and wrecking destruction among enemies. Their warriors then wade in, and while wearing heavy power armor, completely destroy enemy resistance in the name of the Tyranny. They do not need external armor as it has been assimilated into them prior to a mission and the weaponry that they need, they are able to assimilate before a mission. The nature of this power means that they do not need a resupply from Dominatus during a mission and are rather self sufficient. Furthermore, their strength has been enhanced by quite a large factor, enabling them to be an even more frightening enemy during close combat for vehicles and infantry alike. These Overseers advance throughout the battlefield like an unstoppable wave, destroying everything in their path, and assimilating it into their crystaline armor, for more destruction in the name of their Dominatus masters.

They were taken from the Mardor, a species from the the Katar sector of the Milky Way that is notorious for their sadism. They are biologically ingrained to need to cause suffering and pain for other beings, and the Dominatus have taken note of this and with the Ultima Servillis serum, enhanced their forms as well as made their urge to inflict pain even more severe. This limited the judgement of their template Sadis in battle to the point were he was more obsessed with causing pain than with executing his objectives. For this reason he was spliced with genes from the Tarkans, another race from the Katar Sector and infamous for their cruel sense of tactical efficiency, as were the Harbingers of Agony who were cloned from him. Equipped in the technological regalia of the Tyranny, including nerve gas dispensers which paralyse targets and burn their respiratory systems though never enough to kill, and standing at around 5 meters in height, these Overseers go into battle only to cause pain to the opponents of the Tyranny. They are equipped in one hand with electrified barbed whips that create pain at the metaphysical level, and in the other with electroshock dischargers which electrocute and incapitate while causing intense pain. It is truly a horror to engage these Overseers, as they are not after killing you, they are after making it such that you want to kill yourself, and preventing you from doing so.

Beholder of OculonEdit

BeholderOfOculonPortrait

  • Role - Supersoldier
  • Height - 3.1348 - 3.688 meters
  • Long-Range Weaponry - One Laser Gatling Gun
  • Melee Weaponry - One Energy Scimitar
  • Armor - Tau Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Invisibility Generator, Quantum Scrambler
  • Supreme Echelon - Shadowseers
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Relative Threat - High

With the tallest of their rank coming in at 3.688 meters tall, the Beholders of Oculon are the smallest of the Overseers, even more miniscule than the Prophets of Dra'Erath and Harbingers of Agony. They are taken from the race of Kraw and spliced with Iteok genetics to implove their innate combat capacities, which the Dominatus found to be below acceptable parameters. Their small size is offset by their functionality, as they are recon Overseers. Armed with a powerful suit of power armor attached to them by a symbiote as well as a rapid fire laser gatling gun and an energy scimitar, and powerful stealth and sensor capability, these scouts are some of the most potent of their type. These Overseers are often at the forefront of the Tyranny offensive, embedded in enemy lines, feeding information to their Dominatus masters in hope of an effective offensive. However, for most empires, these troops have enough power to double as frontline super soldiers as well.

  • Long-Range Weaponry - Laser Eyes, One Cryogenic Cannon
  • Melee Weaponry - Body
  • Armor - Upsilon Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit

  • Supreme Echelon - Apex Carnifexii
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Relative Threat - High

These Overseers are the results of Grizzly Bears and Dire Wolves being experimented on by the Dominatus. Unlike most other Dominatus Overseers, this monster was created not by the abduction of a baby, but by the experimentation on the genes of a wolf and a bear. After the wolf and the bear genes were successfully put together, the Ultima Servilis serum is injected and creates the template, called Fenris, who is put through Dominatus education much like all the overseers. Biologically speaking, the result is a sapient genius that also happens to be a massive bear-wolf hybird. Measuring 10 meters in length, the Doombringers of Fenris are only less massive than the Leviathans and Phantoms, and thus are larger than the bipedal Overseers. They are quadrapeds, and still move on 4 legs, though they can, on occasion stand up on their hindlegs, which make them stand at a terrifying 20 meters. They are completely covered in a fur that is as hard as steel and very sharp, capable of slicing through most things with ease and are armored with a fully integrated set of power armor that bonds with their fur. In addition, they have a powerful cryogenic cannon integrated into their throats, allowing them to freeze their foes with ease. When deployed, these Overseers, led by their template Fenris, will surely ruin someones day.

  • Melee Weaponry - One Tooth Whorl, Eight Tentacles
  • Armor - Phi Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit

The Leviathans of Scyllraken are the largest Overseers to date, and are the only ones to be able to effectively wage underwater combat, as was their goal. These Overseers are only able to function underwater and on land can only slither at a rather pathetic rate, taking away any combat effectiveness that they may have had there. This was acceptable to the Dominatus, as they merely wanted the Leviathans to function underwater, something no other units could do very effectively, and it was with this in mind the Leviathans of Scyllraken were created. Terrifying fusions of Terran Dolphins and Colossal Squids, these sentient monsters roam the seas searching for the foes of the Dominatus to be wiped out. These Overseers have their armor completely integrated with their body, and thus do not have visible armor on them. Their echolocation has been transformed into powerful sonic weaponry while they are able to emit powerful waves on any part of the electromagentic spectrum. For the purposes of melee combat they use their massive tentacles each of which is 20 meters long in total in order to wreck havoc on the enemy. However, these Overseers need special storage for when they are ferried from planet to planet, and thus require special ships which are filled with water where they can safely live. When they reach the water of a planet however, it is inevitable that it will go red with the blood of all those they have killed.

  • Melee Weaponry - Tentacles
  • Armor - Chi Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit
  • Special Equipment - Viral Phages, Symbiotic Parasites
  • Supreme Echelon - Carrion Brethren
  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent, Able to Control Foes

The Anathemae of Xenomortis are Overseers formed from the DNA of three separate creatures collected from three separate universes. First there are the Necromorphs. The Dominatus took apart the Black Marker in order to know it's secrets and imbued it with the power of the other races. The Xenomorphs were taken from another universe as well when a Dominatus explorer kidnapped an Alien Queen and vivisected it in order to analyze it. The last where the fragmented Daleks from the universe from which the Dominatus hailed, who in their fragmented state, were ambushed by the Dominatus in some places and kidnapped, and genetically analyzed. The resulting combination of these monsters created the Anathemae, 6 meter long Overseers with the abilities to unleash tentacles from their midsection in order to make zombie-like beings of their adversaries through orally implanting parasites into their neural systems and controlling them with the Dalek brain, as well as being almost unstoppable in close combat. These Overseers can fire two death rays from their mouths, nanobot-based biochemical weapons that waste matter by necrotizing organic components and disintegrating inorganic materials. Furthermore, they have the ability to release flesh-eating virii from pores on their skin and are able walk on walls. Lastly, they have their armor integrated directly under their skin, manifesting itself as bony protrusions. It is a sad fate to be set upon by the Anathemae, as you will now only die, but you will be compelled against those you once held dear.

Triarch of AnubisEdit

TriarchOfAnubisPortrait

  • Melee Weaponry - Two Energy Khopesh
  • Armor - Psi Pattern Zeus Class Battlesuit

  • Abilities - Extremely Strong, Extremely Tough, Extremely Accurate, Tactically Competent
  • Relative Threat - High

The Triarchs of Anubis are Overseers formed from the DNA of three distinct species, the Klingon, the Undine, and the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld forms the basis of the central nervous system, the Undine gives it the stability of ambulating on three legs while the Klingon part gives them superhuman strength. This is all combined with the Ultima serum in order to make them some of the most formidable foes most enemies will face. In battle, they are equipped with full power armor and come with the ability to fire powerful bolts of plamsa from their eyes and mouths, using specially engineered organs and biomechanically integrated gear. The Triarchs stand at around 6 meters tall and are generally used as jack of all trade troops given their versatility. Although they predominantly fight using long range weapons, it would be folly to think that they are weak in melee combat, as the Dominatus training of their template means that each Overseer is very skilled in the arts of melee combat, and each is equipped with energy khopesh as a fallback weapon. They are often seen attacking the flank of an enemy's lines and pushing towards a victory as the enemy army's most vulnerable sides collapse due to their power. When the Triarchs appear, it is almost surely a sign that the army they face has a short life in front of it, and that defeat is nigh.

These Overseers are trained in both mounted and unmounted warfare though they tend to prefer to use their cybernetic steeds for areas with large open spaces. The Horsemen are clad in intimidating, ornate armor and chainmail, and their horses follow suit. They are equipped with a variety of weapons, from particle gatling carbines all the way to sabres which can slice through almost anything. Their steeds are also equipped with a wide variety of weaponry as well, from the momentum of their charge all the way to a plasma thrower that is in their cybernetic mouths. These monstrous overseers, led by their template Pestilon Nephillheim make the ground quake with their frightening charge and rip asunder enemy formations with their impact. To hear the sound of their mechanical hooves is to hear the sound of ones death approaching.
