Chapter 1[]
Dilard was out in space, colonizing uninhabited planets as usual to expand his empire.
However, he started getting bored of the fact that there are no sort of aliens to contact for the first time.
Dilard: "This is starting to become a drag. There's so many star systems out here in the galaxy, and I can't find a single alien lifeform to even talk to! Uuuuugh!"
However, he remembered to get some spare parts to help a friend of his get his ship repaired, so he had to head down to a nearby space station to meet up with a repairman right away.
The space station.
Dilard: "Finally, a space station. Bet they have some good folks there. Also, I need to get some spare parts."
After he landed at the docking bay, he put the ship on park and got off. He heads towards the auto shop to get some thrusters and a newer drive after talking with the shop keeper.
Dilard: Now I gotta head to fixing this thing.
Shortly before Dilard could get back into his ship, he noticed a figure in the corner of his eyesight: A purple Keplerian woman. This left him distracted long enough to accidentally take a wrong step and trip over. However, the Keplerian noticed this and rushed in to grab him before he could hit the ground and break the newly-purchased parts.
???: "Are you alright?"
Dilard: "Yeah. I-"
For a short moment, the two would stare at each other. Dilard gazed at the Keplerian's beautiful eyes, as they reminded him of his mother. Then, Dilard snapped back into reality and jumped after realizing what he was doing. The Keplerian also jumped away as well. Dilard: "Oh my gosh, I'm SO sorry! I-"
???: "Calm down, will you?"
Dilard: "Huh...? Wait, who are you?"
Koita: "I am Koita Inaiazani of the Keplerian Empire. And you?"
Dilard: "I'm... I'm Dilard... Dilard Misahuji. I'm the emperor of the Helerosaur Empire."
Koita: "I see. You're here to get some things to help a friend with his spacecraft, right? I'm here to get more Colony Incredi-Paks because I'm running short and my empire's progress is staring to slow down a bit."
Dilard: "So you are... a colonist of some sort?"
Koita: "I'm the one who manages and maintains colonies. I'm a colony overseer."
Dilard: "I see."
Koita: "Anyways, I have to get going. Same for you, if so."
Dilard: "Alright, take care, miss."
Chapter 2[]
After getting his friend's ship repaired, Dilard heads back to his home on Heleros to see if there is anything on the news worth knowing about.
HELEROSAUR EMPIRE BEGINS TRADE WITH KEPLERIAN EMPIRE
Even though Dilard has never met the Keplerian Empire before, he takes notice of the news reporter having an interview with Koita, who greeted Dilard from on-screen while she was at Valan, near the city hall.
Dilard: "Wait, I've seen her before!"
Dilard realized why the crowd was there in the first place. He headed outside to see Koita once again.
Dilard: "Hey, Koita! Been a pleasure for you to stop by my home planet!"
Koita: "Oh, hey!"
The two would run up to each other for a hug.
Dilard: "Gosh, I missed seeing you."
Koita: "You have?"
Dilard: "I thought we were just passing by each other..."
Koita: "I was inspired to understand more about you since..."
Both: "...The moment we first met!"
They realized both their sentences have merged into one. They paused with surprised expressions. Dilard never thought that she was interested in him, until now.
Dilard: "It all makes sense now..."
Koita: "I'm certain."
Dilard: "Mind if I show you around town?"
Koita: "Not right now. I have to head back to my home planet for some affairs."
Dilard: "So, catch you later?"
Koita: "Yep."
As Koita went back to her ship and lifted off, Dilard walked back into the city hall with a warm slightly-excited feeling in his heart. He was joyous to see her once again some time later.
