Shankas, also known as Daggas, are Loron close combat weapons, used by Da Rogue Boyz. They are deadly weapons used by all Loron.
The earliest origins of shankas came from the tribal stage, when spears known as shankas were popularised by the chief. The shankas were used by every tribesmen to hunt, and later to kill.
Propa Big Loron EmpireEdit
The shankas were, again, popularised by the Propa Big Loron Empire, made law to own by Zr'Ahgloth. However, they were used purely in gang life and war in the Propa Big Loron Empire, with no other popular uses.
Da Rogue BoyzEdit
Da Rogue Boyz took the shanka concept to other areas. It was made law to teach a Loron to craft a shanka in school. In addition, the now more popular sneekaz introduced many new techniques of the weapon, for stealthy purposes which were previously not thought of by Loron.
Shankas are a large dagger with a very sharp edge. Loron often like to paint things on them, such as a tally of the people they've killed it with, an emblem of their clan or some random doodling. Loron also like to customize their Shankas with Bling and bones from dead enemies.
Loron Shankas are the pride of nearly all Loron. Used in close combat, wielded in conjunction with Littel Blastas, they are a very popular method of killing enemies, since they're quick, silent and "stabby".Loron love to use them to "shank" enemies, and carry the weapon around with them to show to whoever gets on their nerves. It is not unheard of for Loron to use it in other situations, such ascutting their meat up when eating, and trying to get through trees.
Shankas, being close combat daggers, have no ammunition.
Loron attack with this weapon quickly, silently, and love to use multiple stabs, even when their foe is dead, to stab the enemy as much as possible. A "shank" is a very popular method of killing for Loron, so they will likely take pride in their shanks. A shank is a single stab aimed at the closest enemy possible, and usually done straight after or during a brawl, although excitable Loron shank as soon as they reach the enemy.
Many Loron love to show off their shankas, juggling them in battle, throwing them at enemies as boomerangs, and much more.
For Loron, the shankas are best used in close combat to kill enemies, or to silence an enemy who is down. They are also useful for silently killing unsuspecting enemies. Another tactic is as a fear weapon- showing it to an opponent will usually strike him/her with fear of a quick death.
- It is the law that all Loron must own a Shanka
