The concept of Blastas was designed in the Civilization Stage, when the Chikz felt there should be an improvement on their bows and arrows. The Chikz studied how bows and arrows caused damage through their speed, and worked out a method of creating a machine that could fire something not only faster, but stronger. Using gunpowder as a propellant of a metal arrow, they soon came of with what the Loron knew as Arrow Blastas, and later Blastas.
Propa Big Loron EmpireEdit
The Propa Big Loron Empire continued to use Blastas, but many Tekkas and Mekkas improved on their designs using designs that were taken from raiding enemy armouries. The Propa Big Loron Empire also made it a law that every Loron must be taught to use the weapon from a young age, and that there was a fine if a Loron didn't bully anyone who did not own the weapon.
Da Rogue BoyzEdit
When Da Rogue Boyz developed their own Blastas, they stole many ideas from the former Propa Big Loron Empire, including the laws. They also perfected the weapon, and used the same exploding bullet technology in Blastas that already existed in Propa Big Blastas. Mekkas, Tekkas and Chikz continued to work on the designs, until they had a perfect design which was made standard for all Blastas.
Loron take pride in the design of their Blasts. Loron traditionally build their blastas themselves, although lazy Loron get Da Chikz to build it for them. As a result, as long as the specifics are the same, Blastas can have many different looks. Some look similar to an AK-47, others more like a FAL or M4. Others still are an enemy weapon with bullets attached, and some are just a tube that contains powder and shoots bullets. The barrel length is around 1.5m, and the weapon as a whole is 3m.
Loron also love to paint their blastas. They usually add Empire or Gang emblems, as well as a tally for how many they've killed. They also like to scratch their name into it. Some contain other weird looks that no empire is able to work out what they mean.
Surprisingly, possibly due to Loron being naturals at making and using technology (but awful at inventing), most, if not all Blastas are extremely cleverly crafted, especially compared to other Loron technology and Gunz, which are mere rust buckets! Most other Loron technology is rusted, dirty and poorly constructed, but it seems Loron are brilliant at constructing Blastas. This is possibly something in their genes, or maybe Loron did not even make them.
Blastas roles in the military are simple- shoot as many bullets as fast as possible, and when the 200 or so bullets in your gun have ran out, reload! Indeed, Loron love to shoot everywhere at everyone without bothering to aim. Loron aiming is bad, but it is said that if several Loron are randomly spraying several bullets, someone's got to hit. Blastas are also good at forcing enemies into cover, lowering their morale and hitting the enemy where it hurts (usually when a Loron gets close enough).
Blastas are a personal weapon owned by every individual Loron, and Loron are taught to use them in school from a young age. They are a big part of Loron society, and it is said that any Loron without one is a 'wannabe losa wiv no lief'. Loron surprisingly don't use their weapons to kill each other, but wounding each other is not uncommon.
The ammunition of Blastas come in the form of bullets containing nitroglycerin, that can explode when coming into contact with the enemy. The weapon has a muzzle velocity (speed of bullets when they leave the barrel) of 2,910m/s, thanks to the strong bullet propellant of the Blastas. Each bullet is 10mm long, but thanks to the propellant, can still hit enemies fast, and with the impact and explosion, causes large damage.
The Blasta fires swift shots that spray across the area. Loron normally fire dozens of random shots at a far off enemy, although they can be fired at any range. The bullets can be quite painful and can cause some quite severe damage and wounds, but are more likely to miss and hit someone else (often another Loron).
Loron techniques of using the weapon include the uppercut blast; Loron can ram the weapon's barrel point at an enemy and hit htme with an uppectur, which will go straight below their face. When fired, it will blast a shot through them that catches the enemy offguard and hits them in a weak spot (for most humanoid and other creatures), killing them in most situations.
The best Loron method of use with Blastas is to fire randomly at enemies, as the weapon was designed for. Firing at enemies all over the place until the bullets run out forces enemies to get to cover or hide, and lowers their morale. Another good use for the weapon is that it catches opponents off guard; opponents are normally too busy focusing on the huge horde of Loronz who use close combat fighting to be wary of Loron weaponry, and will likely get hit by bullets. Furthermore, the shear number of Loron who use these weapons is often the reason there are so many deaths at the hands of Blastas, that, and the huge amounts of ammunition (a weapon can hold around 200 bullets at once, and Loron usually carry 2,000 bullets spare).
