Biography[]
Birth[]
- Sessilo Sceye was born on the Xylon's homeworld of Zoken to matron Assiler Sceye and patron Sessil Sceye. There were fourteen other siblings in his clutch, of which a total of eleven survived. Shortly after his birth, Sessilo was taken into a military academy, as his patron before him was in the military.
Adolescence[]
- Sessilo excelled in his academics, and his physique was above average for his class. He was not without fault. Sessilo had received many disciplinary actions for his defiance against his higher-ups and engaging in violent confrontations with his peers, though he always claimed that he was standing up for someone else.
- Despite the negative merits he received on his record, Sessilo was still considered to be one of the best of his class. When his fifteenth cycle around the sun came to pass, it was time for him to take two vital tests: one physical, the other mental.
- The physical exam included bodily measurements, brain scannings, and a performance test. The mental exam measured Sessilo's knowledge of battle tactics, strategy, logical reasoning, and performance under stress and pressure. Out of the 546 military students in his class, Sessilo scored in the top ten overall. He achieved the highest score on the mental performance under stress and pressure out of his entire class.
- Sessilo was accepted into higher education. The next academy specifically trained him for leading military ventures, in conquest, defense, and whatever the Empire might need him for. Sessilo spent five more years of his life in this academy.
- Upon his graduation, Sessilo earned the title of "Platoon Commander," giving him the command of a hundred ships. This was relatively small, but this is where all the great Xylon generals began.
Early Career[]
- Early in his career, Sessilo was forced to quickly prove himself when he was given a patrol mission. It was expected to be some action, due to the Xylon Empire being at war with the Zarthon Alliance. However, the patrol mission turned into a skirmish.
- Upon sighting a few hundred vessels, that were soon identified to belonging to the Zython Empire, Platoon Commander Sessilo ordered to engage the enemy. Sessilo's 150 ships fought against approximately 500, but yet Sessilo's tale does not end here.
- Platoon Commander Sessilo saw an opportunity to escape death for both himself and his platoon. He ordered his platoon to retreat behind a nearby star. The enemy 500 ships pursued them. Sessilo left them two surprises. The first was a mass of nuclear fusion bombs, and the second was a mass of EMP bombs. Many of ships that survived the initial nuclear blasts, were damaged enough to be affected by the EMP blasts due to compromised shielding.
- In maneuvering around the star, Sessilo ordered his pilots to utilize the gravity of the star to slingshot them forward, further propelling them forward. Sessilo ordered the ships to turn around and fire. Any leftover enemy ships did not make it passed that point.
