The Battle for Hakkor was a massive engagement between the Singularim Pact and the Kandrraz Bandz on the infamous 'Red Planet' of Hakkor, a planet key to the galaxy's production of red spice and one that had enjoyed independence from the broader, more powerful nations of the galactic community under its own government. Hostilities between the Krassio and the Lorons were common already thanks to the Kandrraz Bandz' aggressive expansion into territory they had not explored yet, coming to bouts with the psionic empire. Both sides had avoided large-scale confrontations due to the implications of such battles occurring.
The Battle of Hakkor was the first large engagement between both species, provoked after an uncalled yet bold mobilization on behalf of the Lorons, which saw the Tyr Empire, a nation under the Singularim Pact, devoid of their border defense fleets. The Kandrraz force, led by unconventional Da Boss Balbustah, was drawn to the Hakkora system by the Red Spice, forcing the Pact's hand into sending a full-fledged armada, the 2nd Defense Fleet, to the doomed system seeking to prevent the Lorons from consuming the world of the Hakkoran Polity.
