The Orion Republic was formed in 2788 shortly after the decimation of the Altran Republic and attack on Ver Aron, thus beginning the Tyume War
History[]

Senate[]

The Senate is both the legislative and executive branchs, with the Supreme Chancellor the leader of the executive branch. Senators are voted in by community members in defined sectors, and the senators vote on the passing/revoking of bills, laws and acts. There are 74 Senators as of 2788, 2 from each system in the Republic.
Supreme Chancellor[]
The Supreme Chancellor is the leader of the executive branch and the head of state. It is necessary that he signs any acts/bills/laws into law, unless he is overturned by a 70% majority of members of the senate.
