Finn Shesara is a Ugandalorian Clan Lord and military commander, and noted leader within the Clan holds of the Mendel Pact, a strong and charismatic leader, and, while a bit of a play boy at times, a loyal and passionate leader. His strong interest in the ideals of democracy lead him to pursue a political career, though had to also sharpen his military skills as well, leading to a strong leader in both war and peace. His interest in the New Cyrannian Republic and it's "Warriors" lead him to taking much of his Clan with him to establish a new holding in Cyrannus, and work with the New Republic, trading often with Republic worlds and getting as much knowledge as he could. However, he despised the Empire form the moment he landed in Cyrannus, and constantly begged Docarrick Beroya to be allowed to help fight it with the Resistance. Docarrick, despite his own dislike, told him to keep it in check, and not drag the Pact into all out war.
Despite, Beroya finally allowed Finn to form a group to help the Resistance, called The Protectors, and, as they where beginning to prepare to head out to fight the Empire covertly, word was received that the New Republic's capital and much of it's leadership was destroyed by the Empire. Accepting this news stoically, Fenn never the less held position, and waited for the Pact to send him word of their next move. Not only did he receive word of approval for war, but was joined by Commander Ryaler, who brought with him a massive force to supplement Shesara's own.
Shesara is regarded as passionate and head-strong, but never the less an intelligent and carful leader, more interested in settling Clan disputes, trading with others, and working in the political circles of the Pact then fighting. However, one should make no mistake, for his skills are legendary among the Pact, many underestimating the "Play-Boy Clan Lord" and learning quickly why Clan Shesara considers him one of their best.
History[]
Early Life[]
Finn was born to Clan Matriarch Laylin, and Joffin Shesara, and was raised among the other children of the Clan within their hold in the City of Bones, an ancient Mendel city and tourist attraction. Finn made himself famous by having two interests outside of warfare; politics and women, one encouraged by his mother, a great Clan Leader, and the other his father, a boisterous, lively warrior. Still, many worried he did not have the focus to be Clan Lord. After all, to lead the Clan, one must understand the full weight of war, as his ancestors had, and as his mother did. What could a boy who stayed in an office all day womanizing know of such a toil? Despite this worry, Shesara made many a friend, but none as close as his comrade, Korbi Daalis, a human of Clan Daalis that was a vassal to Clan Shesara. The two became instant friends, and while prone to sparring and rough-housing, always looked after one another.
When Shesara was required to pass the Clan tests of warfare when he reached the Warrior-Age of 7, he did well as a scout, and surprised many with his strategic mind, leading the Clan in many wars throughout Mendel history, both before and after their unification into the Mendel Pact proper. Finn was noted for his strength of leadership, and his ability to enact sometimes hard sentences, and no where was this more apparent, then when Clan Raoh revolted against Barda Clett. Clan Lord Raoh felt himself a much greater leader then Clett, and declared his aim to go to war rather then fight him in an one on one duel, as was custom. Shesara recognized the threat such a rebellious Clan posed, and mobilized his Clan Warhost to war, asking his High king to keep the other Clans out. Although Clan Shesara and Clan Raoh had been closely tied, their relationship evaporated after the rebellion.
Arriving at Raoh Keep, Shesara and his forces utterly annihilated the forces of Lord Raoh, even as the rebel Clan Lord deployed his massive air force. Killing Lord Raoh in open battle, and telling him his ways where a betrayal to the ancestors, Shesara ordered the few remaining warriors, and their women and children, be stripped of Clan Raoh, and absorbed into the Vassal Clans under Shesara's command, thus destroying the Clan forever more, and had their Hold burned to the ground, never having the sight rebuilt, so all would remember the foolishness of Clan Raoh forever more.
When Matriarch Laylin passed, the elders and Lord elected Shesara to take his mother's place, and, refused to accept the position until his mother was given a funeral. After accepting the position of Clan Lord, Finn lead Clan Shesara and a number of other Clans to colonize Spirius, and would make it into a mining and industrial center, home to great wealth and prestige among the Clans.
Colonizing Cyrannus[]
Shesara's Clan was among the forces fighting the Bisistar during the First Battle of Venetia, and he gained a massive interest in the culture of the New Cyrannian Republic. When the New Republic allowed their new allies to colonize the Cyrannus galaxy, Shesara was among the first of the Clan Lords to volunteer, heading to Cyrannus and setting up a Clan Hold near the New Republic, and began trading almost immediately. He was keen to read everything he could about the New Republic, and noted, despite some differences, similarities between the way High Kings where chosen in Mendel society, and the way Cyrannians elected their presidents. However, he quickly grew to distrust the Empire, calling them, when in meeting with other Clan Lords "savages and curs", and vowing to help the Republic if war ever came.
Clan Shesara would also rally to fight the Neraida Gigamatrix during their, being on the front lines of many conflicts throughout the war, and even donating to 2 Super-Commandos to assist Commander Carchal Nal. His encounters with the Cogsangui during the war lead him developing a liking for their style of battle and culture, and even began trying to learn their tongue.
Hand of Retribution[]
Finn Shesara opposed the rise of the Hand of Retribution, as did many Clan Lords in Cyrannus, and wished to kill the man himself. Shesara did not get the chance, but sent a regiment of his warriors to help Kirta Clett and Phase-Hunter during the final battle. Once the Hand was disposed, Finn swore allegiance to the new High Queen.
During the conquest against the Hand of Retribution, 2 forces stole away the Mendel colony of Spirius, looting it's temples and grounds while the Mendel fought. One group, where the Skrud, a race subservient to the Brotherhood of Darklings. The other, where the brutal and savage Skordi. The rulers of Spirius, Clan Shesara could not stand to see it's mighty citadels desecrated and turned into slum camps by the Skordi, nor stand to see it's temples used as storage for refuse by the Skrud. Organizing his forces, and gathering allies from Clans Clett, Nitrocon, Nal and Kadra, and a variety of other minor Clans, Finn lead an assault upon Spirius, destroying the warring factions of both Skrud and Skordi after a long and drawn out conflict. With this, Spirius' mines where reopened, and wealth and commerce flowed back to the Mendel Pact.
Kirta and her newly elected High Kings, considered this a sign of things to come, and ordered that Clan Shesara be allowed further expansion of territory and holdings, and rewarded with some of the finer weapons available to the Clans of the Pact.
Second Cyrannus War[]
Having grown agitated with the Empire, Shesara was finally allowed by Docarrick Beroya to form a group to assist the Resistance, which Shesara dubbed the Protectors, and prepared to lead them against the Empire alongside his friend, Korbi. However, all his plans where stopped, when he received word that Mou'Cyran had been destroyed by the Empire. Shocked by this revelation, Shesara stood his ground, as his Clan mourned the loss of the Republic's leadership and civilians. Swearing upon the Oath Stones to avenge all that had been lost, Shesara would, a day later, received word from the Mendel Pact that not only where they going to war, but that he would be joined by the famed Commander Ryaler and his students, bringing with them a boost in weapons and armor, and supplementing Finn's own forces. With this, he and Ryaler began to prepare for all-out war against the Empire.
Finn Shesara and his Mendel Protectors deployed upon the world of Frenal to protect it from the Imperial ground assault. There, his Protectors operated a few miles away from other Mendel forces, and fought with a large company of Imperial forces. As Finn had trained and drilled his Protectors in warfare against the Imperials, they performed remarkably well, reaping horrendous causalities on Imperial infantry, and calling down artillery strikes on the Imperial's armored columns. Still, the Imperials would get away from the battle with only light causalities, with Titus Dromeao bombarding the surface of much of Frenal before retreating.
Finn, like many of his warriors, swore oaths of vengeance upon his Clan and to see Titus brought to justice.
- Battle of Laurantia
Commander Ryaler became aware of the growing Battle of Laurantia, and knew the Republic would need him. However, he could not afford to send all his forces, needing every man he could to fight Titus' remaining fleet, which was, despite it's loses, still a massive threat to the Mendel. However, Finn, Korbi and the Protectors volunteered to take their Clan-Fleet and go there, so that the Republic could rely on their comrades. Likewise, they where joined by a Tribe of Orgaat, eager to gain glory and prestige away from the main fleet. Ryaler informed them that their mission was dangerous, that they could not expect much reinforcement, and would have to be careful. Finn answered he was ready to lay his life down for the Mendel and her allies, and swore he would return victorious, or not at all.
With that, Finn's fleet, lead by his Clan's Flagship, "Soft and Wet, and set out to Laurantia, followed by a number of Persan and Waptorian allies, and his Orgaat comrades. They arrived above the planet with their comrades, and managed to fight their way onto the surface. Finn let his Orgaat allies take one section of the city, as he and the Protectors carved their way through another, assisted by an armored regiment of the New Republic and Waptorian sniper teams.
With his friend Korbi at his side, Finn made quick work of many Stormtroopers, his Claymore thick with Imperial blood by time he was finished, and, with the battle won, news spread quickly among the allied forces that the Empire was on the retreat. The Orgaat celebrated by feasting on the dead Imperials they had "caught" in their "hunt", as the Protectors gathered their allies in a great drinking celebration, much Nuta'gal and other drinks flowing from their refineries that day.
Ryaler, still pursuing Titus, sent Finn a message, congratulating him on his victory, and telling him many Mendel warriors where eager to join under such an illustrious Clan Lord.

Finn is largely seen as free-willed and spirited, easy going always and always smiling. Despite this, when it comes to running his Clan, and leading his people, Finn is very serious and capable, and works constantly to ensure all is well amongst his Clan and the Vassal Clans. His knowledge in trade is well known among the Mendel, and many seek him out for advice on trading and mercantile pursuits, as well as those seeking knowledge on the civilizations of Cyrannus, as he prides himself on being one of the most knowledgeable about the cultures and races of Cyrannus.
He is a strong leader, known for never putting his troops lives on the line, and caring for them when they are injured. He is respected by all the men and women serving under him, who regard him as a strong and passionate leader. He is noted to be something of a xenophile, enjoying reading about other cultures and societies, and learning their languages, being able to speak Cyrannian basic naturally without a translation device, something Diplomats usually learn, but not warriors, as well as having a basic knowledge in some other Cyrannian languages.
Finn is also something of a womanizer, known to freely seek out and court women in his spare time, and this, combined with his chiseled looks, got him the derisive title (Which he now carries with pride) of the Play Boy Clan-Lord. He has no issue with this, and says he simply seeks to enjoy all of life to the fullest, including the company of women.
Appearance[]
Finn Shesara is a strong, medium athletically built Ugandalorian, known to be rather tall among his kin, and of a mild muscled build, preferring not to rely too much on his bulk and power, and rely on speed as well. He is considered quite attractive, even by those outside of his race, with some accusing him of having Raptorian DNA in him, to which he playfully counters that no Raptorian could ever hope to have looks as good as his. His face is chiseled and his green eyes sharp and bright. Finn has a long scar across the bridge of his nose, and is fairly bronzed by his races' standards.
His body is fairly muscled, and, despite his constant training in the grounds of his Clan Hold, he has few scars, except a few earned on the field. He has a tattoo of a human skull on the right portion of his chest, and stylized claw markings tattooed on his back. On the rest of his chest and abs, are the circular Clan runes that other weapons frequently tattoo on themselves.
Equipment[]
Finn Shesara wears Green and white armor, with red and blue markings, that identify him as a Lord of Clan Shesara. Finn's armor has sharp, triangular markings above the eye section, and has seemingly demonic skulls painted on his shoulders, chest and thigh armor. Shesara's visor section is a light cyan color, and he has black-dark grey shoulder pads, as well as an under flight-suit that takes on a layered, wired appearance. His arm, leg and chest armor are covered in small, dot like structures, mostly there for cosmetic looks. On his left wrist guard, he has a rune inscribed, resembling a sword with butterfly wings, and the inscription "LIVE AND LOVE".
The rest of his armor is loaded with wrist rockets and a sonic blast meant to push targets away, as well as an energy whip to entangle targets and trip them up. He carries a variety of blasters, rifles and pistols with him for various heavy and light targets, as well as the Sword of Shesara, a relic sword used by every ruler of Clan Shesara, including Finn's mother.
When not in battle, he prefers trousers and a light tunic, as well as a pair of green sunglasses.
He commonly commands form his Clan Battleship, "Soft and Wet".
Abilities[]
Finn is an expert marksmen and swordsmen, and a great orator, though some regard as too hammy and cinematic at times. He has knowledge on basic first aid, which he learned to care for his troops, and possesses skill in several languages, many from the Cyrannus galaxy.
