Fettipopper is a captain accessory and social tool in the Captain Outfitter in Spore Galactic Adventures. It is the fourth and final social tool unlocked in the Bard row of items.
Design[]
The Fettipopper looks like a small pad with a tube on it which randomly spits out small clumps of confetti. The tube is gold and so is the trim. The inner pad color is determined by the coat color.
The shape of tube depends on the level of the Fettipopper - the tube grows in height up to level two, then significantly reduces in thickness up to level three. Another morphology slider exists that changes the curve of the ring to better fit the hand, arm, or other object it is supposed to fit on. A cube slider exists that allows the part to be pushed slightly into the creature or away from it.
When used, confetti will burst out of the Fettipopper tube.
Role[]
When equipped, the Fettipopper replaces the Captain's Pose ability with Confetti Pose. Confetti Pose at Level One and can be increased using the orange morphology slider when selected in the Captain Outfitter. It is used in response to Pose prompts during socialization with another creature.

Strategy[]
Being the equivalent of Level 14 Pose, Fettipopper provides the strongest Pose in the game. Even for captains lacking pose-capable hands, or hands entirely, the Fettipopper enables successful socialization.
The best application for all the Bard tools is relegated to player-generated Galactic Adventures, as the Maxis-made Campaign Adventures only feature socialization in one adventure, that being in Concert in the Park.
Inherent to Pose as the rarest social talent, the Fettipopper is the least likely to get a chance to shine on its own merits, requiring a creature to have arms and appropriate pose-capable hands to get a chance. There is also the matter of the Imperial Robe, the other social tool that works with Posing. That item secures a victory over all Posing parts and costs no energy, with only Fettipopper being able to tie or outright overpower it. As a result, the use case for Fettipopper is only against other Fettipopper-equipped creatures, admittedly a rarity in practice.
Both Fettipopper and Imperial Robe replace the Pose skill, meaning if both are equipped, the Fettipopper will be prioritized and the Imperial Robe will do nothing.
