First of all, you must know that this article is related to the main Taragan article, but needed special specifications.
Even though Bac-9768B was the most important one in the Taragans' evolution, many other cellular forms issued from the very first Taragan Cell, Bac-0000A, wich is thought to have been implanted on Tara long time ago by the the Founders. Each main branch, as you will notice by studying the scheme shown below, is distincted by the branch's cells' diet.
Taragan Cells Identification Scheme[]
The following document illustrates the known variants of the Taragan Cell during its development and is very limited. Taragan scientists beleive that there are still hundreds of undiscovered variants, but these are the only one identified ones that have been studied enough to be classified so far.

Cellular Branches[]
The method chosen by the Taragan scientists to separate the various Taragan cellular life forms dictates that every cell has to be classified accordingly to its main diet, main being the one they principally rely on. The three main branches - A,B and C - allow the the Taragan science comity to easely place every cellular variants in one cell family before more detailed studies. This way of doing things has proven very reliable since they began using it, at dawn of the Taragans' Civilization stage. Current classification branches are:
- A = Carnivore
- B = Omnivore
- C = Herbivore
Note that the main branch a cell is belong to is usualy shown as the last character in the cell's ID.
Cell Cards[]
Here is included a clarification, or explanation if you prefer, of the scheme shown above. Considering that new Taragan cells are found frequently by Taragan biologists, this scheme is likely to be replaced every now and then.
Please note that not every Cellular Variants have been studied enough to be described as much as others.
Bac-0000A[]

- Scheme reference:1
- Diet: Carnivore
- Nickname:' Old Tari '
- Special attributes: N/A
Bac-0000A is the oldest multi-cellular life form related to Taragans origins. This particular cell is thought by the Taragan's scientific comunity to have been implanted by the Founders on Tara billions of years ago. These relatively simple organisms were not especialy uncommon and were even inferiors to many of Tara's ecosystem's cellular life.
In a few millions years, however, Bac-0000A spread all arround Tara's oceans, being exposed to a variety of environment and life conditions.
Depending on the cells location and conditions, new cells evolved in many shapes and sizes to adapt to their environment and so, survive. Bac-0000A was nicknamed Old Tari in honor of the scientist at the origin of its discovery, a renowed Taragan scientist known as Idragan Tari.
Bac-567A[]

- Scheme reference:2
- Diet: Carnivore
- Nickname:' Calamari '
- Special attributes: 3 eyes; leaves a poison trail behind itself.
Few is actualy known about this cellular life form, aside from it being related to the younger Bac-2375A cells. They appear to be an early state of many of the A branch's known organisms. What the Taragan Scientific comunity do know, however, is that this particular variant basicly relied on accute vision. It wasn't as fast as other observable cell variants, but compensated by secreting a neurotoxic substance that it left behind itself as a deadly defensive system. It used this technique to trap its preys against obstables or other Calamaries in order to get a bite at it. This behavior proved extremely efficient until Bac-567A grew too much. Since it was then confronted to biger, tougher foes, the Calamari found itself stuck with giant herbivores protected by hard bone-like appendices wich prevented the cell to get a grip on its prey.
Bac-2375A[]

- Scheme reference:3
- Diet: Carnivore
- Nickname:' Freezy '
- Special attributes: single eye; large size.
This cellular monster predator wasn't especialy fast, and mainly relied of its powerful jaws to get his preys. It mostly remained deep down Tara's northen seas. Deep on the ocean floor, light was almost unexistant and so Freezies let aside the accute vision that their forefathers, Bac-567A, depended so much on. Down there on the ocean floor, they relied on their other senses, such as touch. In fact, the spikes seen or both of their flanks where not only hunt and defensive weapons, but also detected variation in the water. Following water 'vibrations', Bac-2375A was able to successful locate and track its targets. It failed to evolve further more, the lack of ressources and food slowly brung this cell branch to extinction and only a few survivors have been discovered and carefully studied by Taragan Scientists.
Bac-1438B[]

- Scheme reference:4
- Diet: Omnivore
- Nickname:' Microphants '
- Special attributes: Horns; large size.
