Phoenix is one of Spore's first maximum stats creatures
and was created by the user Chibity.
A video including Phoenix can be seen on Youtube, where a small community has grown in attempt to create the ultimate Spore creation (statistically). Phoenix was the first creation to be broadcasted on Youtube with every ability, maxed stats (5+) in every ability, maxed speed, maxed health and every sense that the game offers.
Phoenix also utilizes the floating-parts glitch which allowed a set of twin spitters to float in front of its body. It also utilizes limbs with no elbows or knees in order to conserve even more part capacity. Other creators have also made max stats creations.
The Most Recent Version of Phoenix[]
Phoenix has also taken part in the Spore Ultimate Dance Contest on Youtube and can be seen strutting its stuff here. The video also provides various close-ups of Phoenix's updated look in full colour, where as its first video was lacking in colour.
Another coloured version of Phoenix can be seen via the following video.

This is the Phoenix from the final game. The following video shows how to make the full-game phoenix.
Physical Description[]
Phoenix's are medium sized omnivorous birds which prefer torrid locations for the reason that their bodies are only feathered on the wings and chest. Very few phoenixes are about to survive outside their natural terrain without drastically losing body heat. The males' bodies are typically covered in bright, engine-red feathers, yet the female variety may sport a cardinal-like brown.
The phoenix is a particularly unique variety of bird when you question how it could have possibly evolved six different limbs on its body, wings included. Some believe that this stemmed from the traditional six-legged insect, while others recognize the extra limbs as a prehistoric trait that has yet to disappear from a lack of need.
Regardless, the phoenix is an extremely adept quadruped creature with the ability to easily travel both on ground and in the sky. Oddly enough, the phoenix’s most forward feet appear webbed in an amphibious manner and seem to suggest that it once used to be a water-dwelling creature; adding a complete paradox to the traditional phoenix. As well, a blunt spike can be found protruding from the heel of every foot.
The phoenix’s primary facial feature is its obscenely large beak which takes up over 2/3 of the creature’s head weight and has a permanent egg tooth near the base. Perched above its nostrils is a pair of placid, forwards eyes which seem nearly white in the right lighting conditions. Dressed upon the back of the phoenix’s head are two spiked crests which cascade down into further spikes on its backside before re-cresting between its long, frilled tails.
One of the more defining features of the phoenix are the pair of identical, spiked units which float in front of the chest and seem to defy gravity in every sense. Further research has proven that these units are virtually weightless despite their ability to produce a gaseous spit from their quills. It is then assumed that this gas has helium properties and is therefore lighter than air. As for how these parts remain in front of the phoenix, static and/or gravitational pull have been two leading theories.
Phoenix’s prefer to dwell in land-based flocks where they can breed and construct nests in protective groups called rings. With many defensive tools upon their bodies, a phoenix can easily manage alone as an individual, but this species has been able to intellectually understand that advancement requires a collaborative effort. However, male Phoenix tend to become aggressive during the mating season, in which they will use their flying abilities to conduct impressive air battles against other males. The victor will then earn the right to mate within his colony. Mating is a process that uses enormous amounts of energy in the Phoenix, usually rendering the couple into a state of sleep for the remainder of the day.
