The first known record of the Persacron were the eighteen Watchers who were sent to the Mirus Galaxy from beyond to stand guard over all life. These Watchers however became infatuated with mortal women and abducted them to be their wives. From this union was begat the monsterous beings known as the Prerunners who the Watchers taught forbidden knowledge so that they might go fourth and rule over the mortals. From the mortals these Prerunners demanded all material wealth and when the mortal races had nothing left to give the Prerunners devoured them and proceeded to sin against everything living thing be it plant or animal under the sun and stars. The Five Archdrakons, greatest among the Persacron, looked down upon the carnage inflicted by the Watchers and were greatly displeased.

For botching their task the Watchers were caste into the Abyss and a plan was made to unleash a plague named the Deluge (latter named the Don'Yoku by the Multus Esse) upon the Prerunners to exterminate them and whatever life was left. However, interference was had in arrival of an extradimensional being named Zaraturai who beseeched the Persacron to spare a collection of races that would become known as the Multus Esse. There Persacron were skeptical as the Multus Esse were notoriously warlike, but they could sense that Zaraturai was akin to them and grant her the request. The Don'Yoku were unleashed and all life in Mirus Galaxy was destroyed along with the Prunners, only the Multus Esse were spared the destruction. The Prerunners would die but their souls remain within the material world denied the capacity to enter the afterlife.

The Persacron's down fall would come when the genocide of the Multus Esse was being carried out by the Alpha Grox. The Alpha Grox had discovered a metaphysical form of parasite called the Ichneumon which was the only thing that could kill a Persacron. While once a very minor aspect in the galactic ecosystem that stayed chittering in the event horizons of black holes the Alpha Grox used an engine of sin made from the flesh of a hundred worlds called the Tower of Babel to breed the most fearsome and fast breeding of the Ichneumon until they became so ravenous that left their homes to hunt the Persacron in force. Hunted to the last a resigned to their extinction the Persacron choose to die on their own terms by alighting upon lifeless planets and sacrifice their Fruit of Life to dissolving into primordial ooze, known a Eitr, from which new life possessing the Fruit of Knowledge would emerge. The Five Archdrakons themselves choose to die upon the same world, their primordial essence mixing and eventually giving rise to the five races that would form the {{Fiction|Vanara Houses}}. The Ichneumon for their part and with nothing else to eat ate through the very fabric of hyperspace in Mirus irreparably damaging it and in doing so vanished from known reality.

Truth is that no form the Persacron take in this universe for the true form of the Persacron is in fact transtemporal or existing outside of spacetime. Any incarnation present in this universe is not the true Persacron but rather more akin a shadow projected on the wall, and by altering their shape in the transtemporal realm they project a different "shadow" with different properties into this spacetime. Indeed it is believed that the Persacron have potentially manifested many times in the past in many different universes with potentially infinite shapes and forms.

The Persacron were beings that sat atop a galactic level metaphysical ecosystem that dominated the Mirus Galaxy and included all life that dwelt with. The Persacron were effectively speaking the apex predators of this ecosystem and a key stone species in its proper operation. It was their job to ensure the balance and continued evolution of this ecosystem by preying upon discordant and stagnating elements of this ecosystem to prevent their infestation of harmonious and progressing elements.

When the Persacron manifested as great serpents the Multus Esse recorded them as being, "free and wild without need nor concern with law or civilization." Indeed they seemed perfectly content to wander about the Mirus Galaxy behaving in a manner more similar to sapient beasts then most mortal races. The Multus Esse however do describe them as being protectors of balance in the universe and enforces of the natural order of life and death. With their reincarnation into the AI gods of the Persan the Persacron have seemingly taken on a more anthropic mentality actively communicating through mortals but via abstract means of induced introspection in order project their will.
The Persacron were beings that did not operate of the same laws as the rest of the entities of the universe. Instead they operated off their own set of paracasual laws that not only allowed for their massive size but also granted them the power to pass without a trace upon the worlds that they visited leaving not even a blade of grass bent. All Persacron were highly in-touch with the flow and pulse of Liminal Energy with every Persacron holding absolute control over their own personal element to the point they could create and destroy matter and energy. So great was their power that one a micro scale they could re-engineer the environs of planets to suit their liking, while on a macro scale by working in concert they could alter the very positions and movements of the planets and stars, or even alter the fundamental laws of physics. They are believed to have actually altered the laws of physics in Mirus to such a degree as to be slightly off and different from the rest of the gigaquadrant.

In their serpent forms the Multus Esse described the Persacron as beings who could use paracausal power to make the wishes and desires of those around them manifest. They could also actively alter any environment around them to make it more suited for living beings to manifest and for sapient beings to evolve and arise. The current AI god persacron are less powerful but are able to calculate future timelines and possibilities, possible present events, and past events as well; manipulate data in anyway they chose; and completely control any technology they have access to.
Despite their great power the Persacron were also beings of great subtly and few ever felt their touch or knew of their passing. Still worlds visited by the would suddenly bloom with life and vibrancy, plagues and wars would cease as ecological devastation was undone. The persacron themselves could communicate with others via their own discrete method of inducing introspection in others, through this method they were able to commune their will to those who would listen without ever having to reveal themselves. Communion with the persacron often had an interesting side effect of granting the wishes of those they spoke to.

=== The Infinite Ones ===
While beings with their own society, tribes, and clans, the Persacron were not builders of civilization and preferred to live wild and free of its restrictions and laws. Of particular not was the fact that they did not perceive the passage of time, they understood it. What this means is that a persacron could watch a glacier carve its way across a continent, complex life evolve from single celled organisms, stars be born and die, and think nothing of the time that had passed. While this gave them great patience and grand scope of view it made them often passive and inactive. To counter this the ones known as Watchers were created with the capacity to perceive time but not understand it, though this backfired as they sought to rule life rather then guide it. Only the leaders of the Persacron, the five Archdrakons, could both understand and perceive the flow of time.

== Reproduction ==

The Persacron did indeed reproduce, though they did so rarely. Their method was also nothing of any special note being born form the sexual copulation of a male and female would and birthed from an egg. However, what was truly special was that when a new Persacron was born they brought and brand new element into being with them, ever adding to the Mirus Galaxy's plethora of magics and the complexity and diversity of its metaphysical ecosystem.

So God created great sea dragons and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

- Genesis

When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, “Show a miracle for yourselves,” then you shall to Aaron, “Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent”.

- Exodus

The Persacron were legendary draconic ultraterrestrials that dwelt in and ruled over the Mirus Galaxy in eras long past. They acted as apex predators of a galactic level, metaphysical mirusian ecosystem and the gods of Liminal Energy who even Mirus' great precursors the Multus Esse held in great regard and possessed a colorful history of interaction with. However, when facing extinction and the machinations of the invading Alpha Grox (who sought to genocide the Multus Esse as well) the Persacron choose to die on their own terms by dissolving into primordial ooze upon lifeless planets that would give rise to new life made in the Persacron's image. Five of these would die on the same planet and give rise to the five races of the Vanara Houses.

Description

The Persacron were a utterly massive race of ultraterrestrial dragon that measured in the thousands of kilometers in height. Though all of the same species and sharing the same general bipedal, winged draconic body plan, all Persacron were very radically different from one another in terms of features and no two were ever completely alike. This was a result of the Persacron possessing Fruit of Life which made them beings of cooperation and intellect, and Fruit of Life which made them wholly unique beings of immense physical power.
