Biology[]
The harisum are a race of primates that walk almost exclusively on there hind legs, although in full run they use there front arms. they are covered in fur and have excitement seances and are very physically powerful. They have a fast metabolism, and they have relatively high muscle mass.
Culture[]
The harisum are very open culture, and they often travel from one community to another for trade and exchange of ideas. They live in communities tied together by blood ties and old alliances. In their culture adaptiveness and intelligence are highly praised and looked upon as good.
Government[]
The harisum is ruled by a large confederation of states ruled by various governments and leaders. This Confederation is the head of the harsium race, and is made up of countless kings, presidents, prime ministers, senators and the like.
Society[]
The harisum live in communities tied together by blood and alliances, and travel is common between communities, and indeed the coming of age ceremony is for a young harisum to travel to another community and bring back some knowledge of the community. They are natural traders, and have a long tradition of trading between different nations and there are trade routs existing on their world with thousands of years of history. They have a very strong seance of exploration and discovery, and make good explorers and scouts.
Philosophy[]
The harisum are classified as traders/bards by the galactic community and they largely fit this description well. They have a very strong trading tradition and are generally happy and open to other species.
Military[]
The harisum are not a very aggressive race, but they are no strangers to war and they can become surprisingly fierce in wartime.. War in their ancient times was often fought with a mix of improvisation and ferocity, and they have brought this mentality to the galactic scene. There armies are not full time professionals and they have few veterans among them, but they have a nack for coming up with improvised weapons, tactics, and items on the spot, and are known for adapting to every enemy they fight.
