Gren'Droi are creatures with little body mass or physical power, but once bonded to a host, they become incredibly powerful both physically and mentally, enhancing the power and durability of their hosts to an almost superhuman degree. The Gren'Droi are native to the world of Klatar in the Eupherion Galaxy, and have absorbed countless beings into the Klatar Imperium, believing their goals righteous and ultimately benevolent for those that fall under their banner. To the long-lived Gren'Droi, the other races are short lived, violent and fractious, not understanding or working with each other even if it would benefit the others in the galaxy and themselves. For this reason, the Gren'Droi seek out hosts, not only so they may thrive, but also help their fellows evolve and become all the more united and together. The Gren'Droi, after all, do not suffer from internal violence and separation, all of them united by a group mind and willing to put aside differences to evolve and reach higher.

Of course, this hides a darker aspect, that the Gren'Droi are divided and almost to the point of civil war, yet do not yet realize it. Within their Four Homeworlds, the Gren'Droi's hardline factions, that view the lesser races as something to be bred and fostered so they may expand further and conquer the rest, are working to awaken a God of their ancient time, a member of the Ozax it is believed, who created the Gren'Droi to subdue and bring the other races into the fold easier, as well as use them against his brethren to put himself ontop, but deception from his fellow Ozax and his own rebellious creations, who shared his inherent desire to dominate and do things themselves, rejected him and burrowed him, leaving him to be forgotten.

Of all the races, due to their past, the Gren'Droi are most aggressive in killing and brutalizing the cultists and madmen who follow the terrifying Ozax.

Creation

The Gren'Droi developed on the world of Klatar, a planet of sacred regard to them, and it's three neighbors, all given Gren'Droi names. It is said long ago that a member of the Ozax, either a Sobbing Tyrant, Concierge or even a Aberric Lord, who came to Klatar and carved out it's mountains and surface, and subdued the local Gren'Droi, and shaped and turned them into beings that would serve him, seeking to use the parasitic lifeforms to subdue and conquer those who obessed them, even planning to unleash them first, on the galaxy, and then, once he was done conquering, upon his fellow Ozax, until all where his thralls. To do so, he tested his creations upon the lesser species on the other worlds near Klatar, now named Kentar, Klyitar and Kortar, each with their own unique species, biomes and inhabitants that he would bend to his will. His swarms of servants and minions, spreading to these worlds, quickly conquered them in a bloody tide that saw the four worlds fully conquered and made into the first four worlds of the growing Klatar Imperium.

Yet, contact with the other races had dulled their connection to their master, and, most importantly, brought them into mental contact with other beings and their viewpoints, and came to realize their master was flawed and ultimately, an evil being. All they needed was the right time to strike. After his other lords found out about his plan, and attacked him, the Gren'Droi revolted and it is said, the combined attacks scattered his body, and said parts were gathered and placed within a specialized prison that floats within the home system of the Imperium. Free of their lord, and, for some reason, avoiding the wrath or enslavement of further Ozax, the Gren'Droi were free to develop and come into their own without the overlordship of another being to command and rule them without their consent.
