Hhyo-Yiivs (Sorugulatus megadorcas), also known as Elandies are a large bovid species native to Rachantes. They are close relatives of the Dukes.
Etymology[]
TBA
History[]
Elandies appeared and evolved in the planet Rachantes, in the southern continent known as Sporotia. They are thought to share a common ancestor with the similar-looking Dukes, as well as being relatively close to the Ancilli and Daurilli; although some scientists dismiss this theory due to the fact that Dukes and Ancilli were originally exclusive to the northern continent, Banjea. A theory explaining that both continents used to be one, with the common ancestors of both pairs of creatures splitting after they separated, has been proposed, but it hasn't been fully accepted by the scientific community yet. When the Sporotamus discovered and established colonies in Banjea, Elandies were brought to the new world and started inhabiting it as well. Besides their role in the ecosystem, they haven't participated in any other major historical events yet.
