The Dutch People (Dutch: Nederlanders) or the Dutch are a Germanic ethnic group of Humans native to Netherlands and part of Humanity. The Dutch speak the Dutch language and live within the Kingdom of the Netherlands who have their origins on Earth.
Biology
Common to all humans, the human body consists of the legs, the torso, the arms, the neck, and the head. The most commonly defined body systems in humans are the nervous, the cardiovascular, the circulatory, the digestive, the endocrine, the immune, the integumentary, the lymphatic, the musculoskeletal, the reproductive, the respiratory, and the urinary system.
One difference with other ape creatures on Eath is that humans have a far faster and more accurate throw than other animals. Humans are also among the best long-distance runners in the animal kingdom, but slower over short distances. Humans' thinner body hair and more productive sweat glands help avoid heat exhaustion while running for long distances.

Like all Humans, the Dutch are part of Humanity and have their evolution origins on the planet Earth, a planet within the Milky Way Galaxy. Their home country was situated in northern western Europe and were situated around the border of France and the Holy Roman Empire, from wich the various territories of which they consisted had become virtually autonomous by the 13th century. Under the Habsburgs, the Netherlands were organised into a single administrative unit, and in the 16th and 17th centuries the Northern Netherlands gained independence from Spain as the Dutch Republic. The high degree of urbanization characteristic of Dutch society was attained at a relatively early date. During the Republic the first series of large-scale Dutch migrations outside of Europe took place and by the 21st century were members of organisation like the United Nation, NATO and the European Union.
The Dutch have left behind a substantial legacy despite the limited size of their country. The Dutch people are generally seen as the pioneers of capitalism, and their emphasis on a modern economy, secularism, and a free market ultimately had a huge influence on the great powers of the West, especially the British Empire, its Thirteen Colonies, and ultimately the United States. The traditional arts and culture of the Dutch encompasses various forms of traditional music, dances, architectural styles and clothing, some of which are globally recognizable. Internationally, Dutch painters such as Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh are held in high regard. The dominant religion of the Dutch was Christianity (both Catholic and Protestant), though significant percentages of the Dutch are adherents of humanism, agnosticism, atheism or individual spirituality.
By 2089 the Dutch, amongst members of their neighbouring countries fled Earth during the Third World War and their exodus began.

By 2100, after being stranded in the Endless Space the Dutch found themselves within the Finduila Sector and reformed their Kingdom albeit in space. Over time the Dutch became a galactic power within the sector though remained rather small compared to other major space powers in the Milky Way or the Cyrannus Galaxy. During their rise to a space nation the Dutch were known for their ingenuity, export of unique Dutch products and the construction of reliable starships. A major corperation became the Dutch Trade Company.
In 2804/06 AQF the majority of the Dutch lost their freedom when the Legatus Finduilica occupied the Kingdom. Legatus rule generally wasn't supported and many Dutch joined the Rambo Loyalist to fight against the combined forces of the Legatus and the Empire to liberate their homes. After their home was liberated the Dutch retained their close ties to the Quadrants and began re-enforcing their presence within the Space in Between, most notably on the populair holiday spot Calcutta.
