It is our duty to study, dissect and examine the universe around us. We seek knowledge and it is our fervent belief that every question can be answered with research, systematic categorization, dedication and logic. Knowledge is our fuel and there is no higher calling than learning.

- Dracogonarious

The Dracogonarious are a very intelligent species of dragon-like crocodillians originated from the Draka System of the Milky Way Galaxy. They are notable for being the founders of the Indoctrinate Collective.

History

Early History

The Dracogonarious originate from Planet Draka-2 in the Milky Way galaxy. Having larger than normal brains made the species evolve fast. However, the same happened to a rival race called the Marinar. Both species fought for centuries until the Marinar were banned to the bottom of the seas.

In the civilizated times, the Dracs managed to create a spaceship powerful enough to leave their planet. However, the spaceship was stolen by the Marinar, who left the planet. What happened to them is something not to be mentioned.

Space

More spaceships were made, and the Dracs conquered space with the help of their legendary first captain, known as Captain Drakley. The empire expanded to thousands of star systems, studying alien life. Certain planets are chosen for the Dracs to place monoliths, which the promoted lifeforms being simply refered as "the species". One of these species had particularly good results.

The Dracs expanded greatly, dwarfing several other empires while destroying those who were though as a threat. They have a strong link with all their allies, protecting them with their lives.

The biggest and longest battle of the Dracogonarious was their war against their ancient nemesis, the Marinox. Now united with The Grox, they destroyed much of the Drac Empire, along with several of their allies. This lasted until a force of various empires managed to hold them in the Galactic Core, invade their planet and destroy their life source.

Annihilation

After being saved from the Annihilation, many different species joined the Dracogonarious' empire, creating the Indoctrinate Collective known today.

Characteristics

Biology

A female Dracogonarious

Dracogonarious males are red medium-sized creatures, vaguely dragon/crocodile-like. They have large snouts and their mouths are filled with sharp teeth. They have large ears and large horns. Their hands have sharp claws, strong enough to badly hurt enemies but still dexterous enough to hold objects. In the sides of their body they have small feather plumes.

In their backs they have a pair of large, bat-like wings and two small pom-poms which they use as their reproductive organs. Their legs are very strong, giving them strenght to jump very high. In their tails they a have sharp, spiky weapon which they use to strike down enemies from behind.

Female Dracogonarious are mostly the same, except they are more orange-ish, have more feather plumes and are larger than males. Still, they don't have the same muscle mass as males.

Behavior

A Dracogonarious's lifestyle could be considered tedious for a human, as they stay much of their time controlling machines. They love working on new kinds of gadgets, being for something important or just plain fun. For entertainment, the Dracs have something very similar to television, except adapted for their eyes.

Dracogonarious are also known to have pets. They appear to prefer small animals with big, round eyes. Spaceship captains are also seen with pet animals on transmissions.

Dracogonarious have a strong link with their families. They take care of their babies until it is 20 years old, then he may choose in becoming a fleet member or staying in the planet. Dracogonarious families are usually small, with 2 to 3 children. Dracogonarious reproduce by rubbing their pom-pom-like organs known as "tarygans" (located in their backs) with the tarygans of the mate, similar to plant reproduction. They are an oviparous species.
