The Cygnus are a very powerful empire and have colonies and allies in every arm of the galaxy. They Evolved on planet utopia 4 billion years ago and quickly became the top predators. when they reached civilization stage they had dreamt about space, and upon raising to space age, they quickly dominated the galaxy, and with uprise of Captain Joshua, they spearheaded a campaign to wipe out the grox and bring galaxtic peace and harmony, and to enlighten all the species in the galaxy with the belief in science. they only colonize t-1 worlds and above, so the grox don't take over their colonies. the reason tht Joshua and the elders are immortal is because they have had an extra gene put into their genetic code to make them immortal.
their home system is heralded (even by aliens)as one of the most beautiful and life filled systems in the galaxy, their homeworld especially.
