Offspring incubation: 6-12 months, then the egg hatchs. After that, a larval Azimuth hatches, and crawls up the community nest. Secretes a hardening substance, and develops a pupal shell. After one more year, the pupae cracks, and then a 6 inche long adolescent crawls out.
Number of Offspring: 4 to 8
Offspring Survival Rate (before age of maturity): 75% they are raised in a family group and everyone helps raise the babies.
