Xylex's empire have split up not to long ago, about to have the Grox as a powerful ally or not. The Supreme Counsel agreed to not to ally the Grox. This angered some colonies because they had less spice production and weaker attacking systems. So these planets broke off from the rest and formed a new empire. The new Empire has allied the Grox and has caused great destruction among the galaxy. When Xylex was born, his parents could tell that there was something weird about the boy, they just didn't know. Turns out, Xylex was a master at space flight control and got his space driving certificate at 10 years of age. Most people must wait until they are 20, but Xylex was different.
Then came the day that the Grox with their new allies attacked his home planet, killing his parents and taking away his sister. He swore that after that day, he will protect the universe at any cost. He has been doing it well ever since.
