Tarena Maana is an Aa'griaa bounty hunter and mercenary, specializing in smuggling and kidnapping. She was born in 2974 UE on Neyllasura. Not much is known about her childhood, but by her sixteenth birthday Tarena had mastered the art of crime. Since then, she has become notorious across the shady underworld of the Stellar Union as an efficient bounty hunter. While Tarena is largely merciless, with no goal other than to earn her pay, she does have a compassionate side. However, one of her biggest peculiarities is her intense dislike of explosive weaponry.

Childhood[]
Tarena Maana was born on the planet of Neyllasura in 2974 UE. While most knowledge of her childhood is unknown, it is believed that she lived a very comfortable life until the age of eight, when she began her life on the streets. Using her ingenuity and cleverness, Tarena was able to outsmart others so that she could get food and resources. At the age of ten, Tarena is believed to have boarded a ship to Iyescene, where her thievery continued. By the time of her twelfth birthday, Tarena had caught the attention of the infamous bounty hunter Ilmugg Va'eto.
Bounty Hunting[]
Tarena worked with Ilmugg for many years, but by the time she was sixteen she worked alone, yet she still used his old ship. Around this time she began to pursue more dangerous missions, and she also began to entrench herself further in both the legal and illegal spice trade. These missiosn led to more connections with individuals higher up in the social hierarchy, including many members of the Ciamith nobility. Her clientele only continued to diversify through the years, and by 2996 UE, she was tasked with one of her rikiest missions yet: to kidnap the Prince of the Yrdir Dynasty, Thyrae Yrdirsi. This job started out well, but the shady activity of her clients and a realization that bombs were being used convinced Tarena to take action. Ultimately, she rescued the Prince and returned him free of charge, feeling confident that what she had done in the end was the right choice.
Appearance[]
Tarena is a female Aa'griaa, who is about 1.7 meters tall. Tarena has blue skin, with dark grey stripes running up her forearms. She has long pink tentacles that hang from the back of her head, beneath a pale blue crest with a zig-zag pattern of darker blue. Tarena's eyes are a rich black, and they have an iridescent sheen. Tarena wears a variety of outfits, but the one she sports the most is a simple jumpsuit with orange armor pads on her chest and shoulders, along with a belt along her waist. Tarena also wears a pair of black boots, which have steel built into the toes.
Personality[]
Tarena is a harsh and aggressive person, and is not afraid to voice her opinions. She can be overconfident in her skills, and holds grudges. Tarena's harshness most likely stemmed from her traumatic childhood. Tarena's hate also makes her one who is not hesitant at finding any way possible to exact revenge on her enemies. However, Tarena has a softer side, involving compassion and intense respect for allies, and empathy with others. She is very adaptable, and she can impersonate quite a few different kinds of people, including politicians, warriors, military personnel, and an average Aa'griaa civilian. Tarena is also deeply religious, taking time to worship and pray to the Aa'griaa deities.

The Vengeance[]
The Vengeance is Tarena's personal vehicle, and she uses it to travel from planet to planet to pursue jobs. The ship is 50 meters long and has a wingspan of 40 meters. For weapons, the Vengeance is armed with two pairs of advanced laser cannons. The ship has a great amount of maneuverability, and can easily outrun many larger ships. The ship was formerly owned by Ilmugg Va'eto, and Tarena inherited the ship after Ilmugg's death. The Vengeance has gone through many renovations during its ownership by Tarena, including a redecoration, a paint job, weapons upgrading, and countless hours of maintenance.
