My teacher and spiritual sister, the things we have endured for the sake of our people!

Master Bel, colloquially known as Bel among her closest circle, is a Civatron warrior, arconaut, scientist and partially a somewhat religious figure in Chandras Galaxy and Tigris Galaxy.

As a Ghenes Civatron, she was enhanced physically and mentally, raised to be among the best warriors in the entirety of the Civatron society, and Krassio society by extension. However, Bel began showing interest in other fields other than warfare and her people's warrior culture, something that concerned her teachers as she grew up, leaning on her passion for archeology and exploration across the stars and forsaking her warrior training at times.

However, as a Civatron warrior, she excelled among her peers, becoming one of the top 10 ranking initiates, overcome only by the likes of Val'Dir and Psantik, who also displayed outstanding performance in all areas. Her strength and vitality, as well as her unusual approach to the use of psionic essence, keeping versatility above all things, allowed her to stand out for the final selection, an event where the nine tribes of the Civatrons would choose their initiates.

Bel was one of the survivors of the Civa Ghenes event, a great betrayal among Civatrons and Krassio in general that saw the planet momentarily succumb under the influence of the Death Essence lesser god known as Caghtomu'Iz. Although the demonic and traitor forces were eventually repelled, the event left a troubled mentality on Bel and her peers. However, her heroic role in the battle also marked a standing aspect of the rising Ghenic culture that would rise from the ashes of their cradle. It was here that Bel, forced to grow in power to fight the demons, learned the truth of her identity crisis: she was the reincarnation of a Krass named Yia, a figure that apparently was held in high regard by entities belonging to the Four Pillar Essences.

Joining the elitist ranks of the Kroios Circle, Bel carried her vengeance against the forces of Chaos for an entire decade, where her progression and growth was visible and overseen by Master Kroc himself, grabbing her as a personal apprentice. She learned warfare, strategy, and earned considerable experience throughout her career as a Demon Hunter, earning the rank of Mastym at her relative young age, participating in the Kroios council, and leading purging expeditions against considerable forces.

Fate would take her again, however, when she was told to investigate the appearance of a strange, gigantic sphere that projected a powerful psionic resonance in the Iluvii Realm. Master Bel was then raptured by the precursors known as the Virgonians, who took interest in her for their own, alien and incomprehensible reasons. In a journey that would span four decades, Bel traveled around the massive Birch planet that encompassed the Virgonian Civilization. It was in these travels that Bel met with remnants of the long lost Krass civilization, learning then of the true nature and position of her counterpart, Hegemon Yia. There she came to terms with her identity as a reincarnator, letting her Krass DNA to finally merge and allow her to become a Krass.

In present times, due to her genetic heritage as both a superior Krassio and a reborn Krass, Bel/Yia has become a religious and political symbol in the Neo Cianju Alliance upon her return. Crowds of followers have come to her for guidance, given her innate ability to reactivate ancient Krass technology.

Biography[]

Civa Ghenes[]

As a youngling, Bel was part of the Civa Ghenes program, a Civatron project partaking the resurgence of Civatron reproduction, which had been stalled for centuries following the War of Ages. Bel hatched and opened her eyes in one of the incubators that were laid within the Incubator World. Having been scouted by the Kroios Circle during her gestation, she demonstrated incredible ability when becoming an acolyte for psionic energy. She passed all her trials and grew to become a paragon in her generation, rivaled and bettered by the likes of Lord Psantik and Val'Dir.

Shortly after, Bel was one of the initiates that sensed the corruption in Grand Curator Iguanodon, as he attempted to sacrifice the entire population of Civa Gene and absorb their essence in order to grow stronger. Bel was forced to visit an ancient Krass temple hidden in Civa Ghenes long before the Civatrons arrived. In her quest to become more powerful and stop Iguanodon, she was suddenly transported before the presence of Pentju, who cryptically led her to take four distinct trials of Essence, Dream, Chronoscopic, Life, and Psionic. During these trials, she learned the truth of her existence; she was destined to host the spirit of Lady Yia, a revered Krass leader who died eons ago. The trials, as well as the realization of her purpose as a host, left her scarred and critically injured, her essence signature, a second heart to Krassio, began to fade. She crawled herself into a tank with a glowing liquid following Yia's voice. The tank then recognized her as the ancient Krass and imbued her with the Krass' DNA, allowing her to wear Yia's special power suit. The suit began to heal her—and alter her appearance—at a dramatic rate, and her life hung from a small thread. However, at the last possible second, her Iluvii summon and familiar Deshir purposedly disintegrated and merged his essence with her, giving Bel the strength to survive the process.

She emerged from the trials and the temple as a new being. Yia's personality still caused some conflict within her, but she now had the power to challenge any threat to her homeworld. When she returned to the surface, her home was now the stage for a massive planetary battle, as Iguanodon had managed to summon his master, Dugarovonth, and now monsters from the Chaos realm of the Shard gorged out of a massive portal. This Chaos incursion into Civatron space drew the attention of the Kroios Circle and the Kroc Tribe. Bel faced a corrupted Iguanodon, killed him and stopped the portal, trapping any Chaos forces in Chandras and forcing Dugarovonth to flee with his followers.

Her heroic deeds did not go unnoticed, as she was scouted by both the Kroios and the Kroc by none other than their respective leaders, Chief Hunter Krokka and Chief Paramount of the Kroc Tribe Crokko, also known as the Red Twins. Knowing that she could travel the universe with the Kroios Circle, she joined them and became a full-fledged Hunter once she was blessed by none other than Master Kroc.

Kroios Circle[]

As a huntress, Bel grew and rose in the ranks relatively fast, as in five years she had already a group of hunters under her command, went into solo missions (something only designated to the best hunters), and she was a candidate to be called the Third Hunter, a title of great power and influence among the Kroios.

Her skills as a capable leader and statesperson stepped in when she had to assume the role of Administrator in an unknown sector of systems that had been just purged from demonic influence. She promptly and dedicatedly helped each system to rebuild and raise their defenses by teaching them on how to manipulate essence. Her work there removed any doubt that she was ready to assume the role as Third Hunter in her order, when one particular mission caught her interest.

The Virgonians[]

At some point in her tenure as a huntress, she accepted a mission that involved her investigating a strange alien sphere that had appeared in the edge of the known universe. Upon investigating the alien object further, she was transported to the Virgo Birch Planet by the Virgonians, who took an interest in her Krass DNA given they had also stored Krass data millions of years before.

She was considered missing in action for thirty years as she traversed the highly complex system created by the Virgonians, and what transpired there is mostly unknown, but the end-result was that Bel managed to warp into known space again during the early stages of what would be known as the War for Chandras. Bel not only acquired knowledge about the Krass, but she came to terms with her duality as both Bel and Yia as a reincarnator. Her memories as Yia managed to extract successfully pieces of knowledge from the Virgonians in terms of cosmic engineering.

Chandras Upheaval[]

Her awakening as a Krass reincarnator, however, was not without its issues. Slowly but steady, Krass technology had begun to awaken all over Chandras in response to a Krass entity reappearing. During her thirty-year absence, where many but few presumed her dead, many powers in the galaxy claimed this resurgent technology, giving ill-intended minds the tools needed to foster instability in the galaxy and ultimately lead it to war.

When Bel returned, she set off to Chandras almost immediately to help rally her Ghenes brethren under the banner of the Trinity. She had a minor exchange with High Judicator Inujev, who tried to recruit her to the Ascensionists as he recognized her status as a re-awakened Krass. Bel's loyalty to Kroc and by extension the rest of the psionic pantheon did not relent, and so Inujev presumably tried to eliminate her with assassins zealous to his cause. During this encounter she met another loyalist sympathizer among the Andrudans, Judicator Bo-Aiket. Together, the two worked incessantly during the early tensions of the conflict as they tried to secure enough supporters and relent Andrudan and Civatron warriors from the Ascensionist ideals.

When Anur'Ctar was ambushed and presumably killed during the battle of the Torn, Bel mourned her master and patron god and vowed to continue his work of preserving the Civatron race across the multitude of horrors and challenges that would come. She was a participant of the Siege of Civa Praxeum, and she witnessed the destruction a full-blown conflict with the Iluvii spirits would mean. Worlds cracked before her eyes, and countless lives were reduced to shreds in a matter of seconds. Bel wondered if this is what the Tigris veterans had endured during the whole Infernal wars.

She helped Bo-Aiket and Lord Psantik evacuate all peoples who wish to flee the galaxy's climatic upheaval, coordinating a fleet of Krass drones to hold the Tyr and the Ascension at bay for the two weeks that the battle lasted. The timely arrival of Val'Dir's warriors and the New Cyrannus Repulic and Sacratus fleets gave the refugees the respite to escape. Val'Dir and Bel saved Bo-Aiket from death by infusing her with psionic energy, and they all crossed the Chandras wormhole, perhaps forever.

Reclamation of Tigris[]

As the refugees pondered what they should do, the Sacratus ordered to defuse the mine field that surrounded the Tigris wormhole in the Quadrants, giving them the opportunity to return to the long lost galaxy. Bel was at the head of the scouting team, with her mastery in Krass technology allowing the Krassio to observe their lost home from afar. When they concluded that Tigris was salvageable, Bel remembered her mentors' words, especially those who had survived from Tigris all the way to Chandras, and that had tragically perished during its galactic-wide conflicts. She vowed then to continue the legacy of those who had died and paid the ultimate price for newer generations to return.

Personality & Appareance[]

Master Bel Equipent

The unusual ancillary equipment Bell uses derives from Krass technology.

Since her early days at Civa Ghenes, Bel had been often described as a 'Civatron who truly represents Civatron behavior'. Her calm demeanor and reserved personality give a stoic impression upon those who meet her as she prefers to listen rather than talk. Truly, Bel herself prefers to bring recorded reports on psionic crystals rather than testifying herself, albeit when the situation arises, she is more than willing to do so. However, most of the stoicism drawn from her rather serious demeanor comes from the fact that she wears a reversed-engineered Sentinel Ancillary I or SA-I, an experimental suit devised by the Krass for them to manipulate any kind of essence-based matter. Bel decided to use it after witnessing Master Kroc used a Life energy-based blade to save her. Aesthetically, many draw similarities between her suit and Kroc's during the War of Ages, which also possessed Krass-designed attributes. The SA-I only covers the upper half of her body and biologically connects with her essence-based body, hiding her face from the others. She refuses to remove her helmet at any moment, and the only time she has ever done that was because she willingly did so before Master Kroc.

Without the SA-1 concealing her face, she is told to be a reptilian of striking, beautiful features, Curator Iguanodon remarked that she was one of her kind, with a beauty rivaling the goddesses within the Iluvii Realm.

Abilities[]

SA-1[]

The Sentinel Ancillary 1 is perhaps one of Master Bel's signature traits. Designed by the ancient Krass in times immemorial, the SA-1 was a prototype arguably the Krassio's forefathers had any testing on, as there are no records of such experiment taking place. The SA-I had to be modified and finished by Civatron scientists but was left as an experimental project. Civatrons preferred strength in essential skills and mentation, projecting powerful shields and blades instead of depending on technology to do so. Bel saw, however, great potential in the Krass' insight, seeing it as a complementary feature rather than a detachment from Krassio belief.

The SA-I also possesses the ability to harness essence-based life forms, as it draws its power from essence itself. Its poorly constructed AI recommended Bel at one time to either absorb essence constantly or to keep a strong source of it permanently bound to it. Bel recently bound her companion, an Iluvii spirit named Deshir, to the device in order to save its consciousness. Deshir/SA-1 acts as a consultant/assistant to Bel, giving her an edge at analysis and scanning without equal, helping her perform the most tedious of analytic tasks in a matter of minutes.

Essence[]

Since her infancy, Bel has lived through the Civatron Art of manipulating psionic energy, as such, she is well-versed in its abilities and helped her become one of the most powerful psionic users alive. Although she is still way behind Kroc or Singul'Aren's level of mastery, Master Bel earns her rank well by being able to contend with more experienced and veteran psionic users, such as her first Mastym or Lord Psantik, who was closely powered by Ynur'Vae's might.

Like any other Civatron, she proved herself as a warrior by coalescing her own psi-blade at a young age, turning her into an advanced student ahead of others and allowing her to go into missions. Her skill as a martial artist with her blade was carefully crafted by the teachings of Master Kroc, learning the Kroios Style of combat and representing it fully. She is able to disarm and execute foes with minimum leg exertion, as she favors using her opponent's momentum against them. However, she is also well versed in the Freyan style, which favors high movement and artistic 'dancing', something she employs whenever facing an opponent physically stronger than her. Additionally, she is the only one next to Master Kroc to use her Psi-blade in the Iluviian Segment of the Kroios style, taking said art of conformist dueling to a whole new level. Bel appears to be idle, but her blows move so incredibly fast that it appears as invisible to the naked eye, albeit she can only maintain this Segment for a tad moment, by which afterward she must succumb to deep meditation in the Iluvii Realm to replenish her essence.

In terms of more abstract and spiritual abilities, she appears to perform poorly due to her lack of demonstration as a Civatron Warrior. In reality, she favors physical enhancement with psionic energy rather than more mystical powers, but she is still fluent in telepathic combat and battle meditation, as she was able to connect with Sentinel Cainak and join forces. She is also a powerful presence within the Iluvii Realm, enhanced by the covering glory Kroc manifests within. She has been greatly blessed with divine power by her mentor, and as such she wields great might.

Albeit inexperienced at most, Master Bel is a strong user of Life Essence, one she had to learn in order to compete properly against the machinations of her nemesis, Iguanodon. With it she is able to suppress Death Energy constructs and transmit healing essences towards others, making her an effective healer. Bel can also enhance her telekinetic and telepathic powers with Life essence and with a little more focus enhance the growth of life and resurrecting those who have passed not so long ago.

Master Bel is not indifferent to the time-manipulation applications of the Chronoscopic essence, but it is her least explored field of essential study, albeit she has been shown to grasp its concepts quickly.
