- - Jol'kiar
Jol'kiar is a Leeda of the natural Loron in Da Rogue Boyz and both a mentor and right-hand man of Fre'kloar. As the wisest of the Loron, Jol'kiar acts like a paternal figure to the others, though he frequently reminds them of how much better things were in 'his day'. His age and experience made him often the voice of reason in discussions.
Jol'kiar has served as a second in command of each of the three most powerful Loron leaders in post-War of Ages times: Gratz'kaoz, Zr'Ahgloth and Fre'kloar. Of these, only Fre'kloar truly respected him. Though Jol'kiar is incredibly strong, and very talented in fighting techniques which he had perfected, he ultimately was never the strongest Loron, and due to his elitist attitude and lack of self-confidence, he was never a capable leader of an entire empire on his own.
Jol'kiar takes much pride in Fre'kloar, who he helped found the Rogue Boyz. However, per Loron tradition, Fre'kloar had to kill Jol'kiar in order to surpass Jol'kiar and truly become the greatest Loron who lived. In a now-erased timeline, Jol'kiar, having prepared his student for this day, fought Fre'kloar and died with honour; the two have agreed that as Fre'kloar had already fought him, he no longer needs to again.
History[]
Early life[]
Jol'kiar grew up as the son of a martial arts trainer, the same one who trained Gratz'kaoz upon fleeing from a destroyed orphanage. Jol'kiar's father was masterful at combat and highly respected by his peers, achieving galactic fame, and taught Jol'kiar most of what he knew. However, Jol'kiar was thrown out by his father, believing himself to be an orphan, and mentored instead by a Loron named Knar'thil, who also mentored Knar'gank and Gol'thabex.
Life with Gratz'kaoz[]
One day while training, Jol'kiar discovered Gratz'kaoz and saved him by pulling him out of a wreckage when unconscious, after Zr'An'Kar beckoned him over to help. The two crossed paths once again, when Gratz'kaoz employed Jol'kiar to join his new Massiv Crew, and Jol'kiar served as his right-hand man upon learning that Gratz'kaoz was instructed by his father. A student of both Gratz'kaoz and Knar'thil, Jol'kiar became an incredible warrior, though he always lived in the shadow of both them and his father, feeling he could never truly match them.
The two fought side-by-side on many missions, and at the beginning, the two were close. As Gratz'kaoz had suffered much in his life and was often ridden with depression and anxiety, Jol'kiar was the only one he felt comfortable opening up to and speaking to about his rough life. Though the two were close, Gratz'kaoz grew even angrier in his frustration at his foes, and Jol'kiar saw that Gratz'kaoz was not fighting like a Loron, but even more barbaric. He saw that Gratz'kaoz lacked the passion for fighting that he had respected in his other two mentors, and was twisted and fueled by rage. Eventually, when Gratz'kaoz slaughtered Knar'thil and left Jol'kiar behind, he slipped out and ran to join the Propa Big Loron Empire, hoping that Gratz'kaoz would believe him to be dead. He did not realise, however, that without him around as someone to speak to about his emotions, that Gratz'kaoz would grow to be even more twisted and even less sane.
Da Propa Big Loron Empire[]
Jol'kiar's reputation allowed him to be welcomed into Da Propa Big Loron Empire with open arms. Along with Knar'gank, Jol'kiar raised Fre'kloar as an adoptive son, hidden away from Gratz'kaoz, hoping that Gratz'kaoz would soon meet his ends when his Massiv Crew was inevitably crushed by the Propa Big Loron Empire. As Jol'kiar often defeated higher ranking Loron than him, he quickly caught the attention of Gratz'kaoz, who appointed him as one of the Propa Big Warbosses and on many occasions his personal bodyguard during the First Ottzello Galactic War.
During the war, Zr'Ahgloth and Jol'kiar both discovered Gratz'kaoz was still alive, and even less sane than when they had last seen him. Barely escaping, it was here that Jol'kiar began to truly see the hypocrisy of Zr'Ahgloth and his corruption, as Zr'Ahgloth was incredibly self absorbed and so strong that everyone around him would be reduced to a simple yes-man, and so Jol'kiar felt that he and Fre'kloar should one day defeat Zr'Ahgloth. During the later stages of the conflict, he was caught up into a raid against the recently arrived Third Sovereign Domain, coming to face the famed Zazane warrior Keldar in the process; this battle is widely seen as the beginning of the long-lasting rivalry between the Loron and the Zazane.
The opportunity for Jol'kiar and Fre'kloar to fight Zr'Ahgloth did not arise, as the two fought under the Propa Big Loron Empire for many other wars, including the Second Ottzello Galactic War. During the event at this time known as Da Rebellion, Jol'kiar joined Fre'kloar in his revolution, and started Groop Fre'kloar with him. He supported Fre'kloar throughout the entire expansion of the empire, and was there when the Groop evolved into Da Rogue Boyz.
Da Rogue Boyz[]
In Da Rogue Boyz, Jol'kiar was one of the two biggest leaders initially. When Hagto'Zhl joined later, they agreed that there can only be two Propa Big Rogue Bosses maximum. Unwilling once again to simply kill Jol'kiar, instead the two agreed to allow Jol'kiar to step down and become a Speshul Warboss.
Jol'kiar was not actively involved in fighting the Unified Nation of Ottzello directly during Da Rampage, until the Place Your Bet incident, when Jol'kiar was the sixth boss in the arena, fighting Zr'Ahgloth and Tuolog, and after fighting to exhaustion, eventually fleed.
Later, Jol'kiar was promoted to once again be a Leeda of the Rogue Boyz, in charge of the natural Loron while Hagto'Zhl was in charge of the Dark Loron and Fre'kloar in charge of the faction as a whole. This position was granted to Jol'kiar after Grak'tona and the Cold Loron joined the Rogue Boyz. Jol'kiar continued to participate in many various adventures with Da Rogue Boyz, from the Second Borealis Galactic War to the Ice Age.
Da Rogue Era[]
Da Rogue Era begun with Da Ice Cube Trials, an event of trials amongst the Loron. Jol'kiar's challenge was to prove to a Massiv Crew that his old ways truly were better. After arriving into a Krooza, beating up several of them up, and killing the warboss, they were persuaded to stop being lazy and to charge into battle.
Jol'kiar later played a pivotal role in the following event, known as Settlin Da Score. As with the other Leedas, he fought and defeated Zr'Ahgloth, only for Zr'Ahgloth to nearly kill him, but barely survive. After this, Fre'kloar finally accepted that he had no choice but to fight and kill Jol'kiar in order for tradition to be followed, and Jol'kiar confronted his student, who eventually killed him.
Jol'kiar was revived at the end of Da Reckoning, when Da Rogue Boyz attempted to go through time in order to prevent the war from starting. This caused numerous time anomalies, though Jol'kiar was able to return and rejoin Da Rogue Boyz.
Characteristics[]
Appearance[]
Jol'kiar is a typical Sikka Loron Boy, and often wears basic equipment that he described as "old skool". He has no special equipment with him, feeling that his fists are enough, and reviled modern technology. Jol'kiar was the tallest and most menacing of the Warbosses prior to Fre'kloar's transformation to a Sikka Boy.
Personality[]
Jol'kiar is a charismatic and incredibly stubborn Loron. Often feeling the need to remind others of his age, he reminds them of how the "old ways" were the best. He is also incredibly wise, and often turned to for advice on any subject. For this reason, Jol'kiar has always been respected as a paternal figure.
Abilities[]
Jol'kiar's most notable ability, other than strength and resilience, is his knowledge of techniques. As his speed and technique were so robust, he is able to beat many opponents even if they are physically stronger than him. Being a Sikka Boy, Jol'kiar's wings have developed enough to allow him to fly with them, and he has shown great proficiency in doing so at multiple occasions.
