The Building Creator (known as Building Editor before it was changed in the final version of Spore) is one of the creators, present in Spore. There are 4 subdivisions of the Building Creator, which include the House, City Hall, Entertainment and Factory creators, each of which have different functions.
Various different types of buildings can be created in this creator. They are many different styles of building blocks, windows and doors, to each sub-editors own unique tools.

Trivia[]
- The entire Building editor appears to have similar controls to Google Sketch-up.
- When the old Building Editor was displayed, it was shown that player cannot separately color the faces of individual parts, dramatically limiting the detail a building can have.
- The Bodies part "Octa-roost" suggests that it's an octagon, but it's actually a hexagon.
- The Details part "Vacuole" shares its name with a cell organelle.
