The Broogus are among the last species encountered in Spore Creatures and are one of the two optional species in the game, the other being the Starspeck. They directly compete with the Starspeck, fighting over the food hoarded by the latter species.
Biography[]
The Broogus are cyan and purple colored, with yellowish teeth and red irises. They are one of the tallest creatures in the game, and have a bulky appearance. They also appear to have fur on their legs, arms and tail.
Stats[]
The Broogus have an attack damage stat of 81, a defense stat of 54, and a social attribute of 87. Their large stats rival those of Gar' skuther and the Skuther, (this also applies to the Koth and the Starspeck, although the Starspeck's stats are slightly lower) making it a formidable creature to battle.
The Broogus are able to use the Leaf Flurry Bio-Power, which can deal large amounts of damage.
In actuality, the stats for the Broogus that are provided in the Sporepedia are inaccurate to the actual stats of their parts provided in the Creature Creator. Despite their given defense stats being at 54 points, the Broogus Leg has a defense stat of 81 points. Additionally, their given Metabolism stat is 192 points, this despite the Broogus Mouth actually having half of that number at 96 points.
