Beast is a character that appears in Spore Hero. He resides in the eastern section of Mushroom Valley.
Story[]
When initially interacting with Beast, he attempts to frighten the Sporeling. When he fails, he admits he isn't too scary, and then explains to Sporeling that an unknown alien species transformed him into a seemly harmless form that he interprets as a "pile of fluff." He became unrecognizable to Beauty, his love interest, and is now ignored by her for his appearance. After talking to him, a cutscene will trigger focusing on the Beauty sternly looking at the Beast, examining him, scratching her head, and then disappointed, looks to the other side. "Beast and Beauty" quest will be added to the Active Quests.
After dancing with Beauty to cheer her up, the player will be able to improve and evolve the Beast to regain a tough appearance to convince Beauty to reunite. However, the player must collect enough clues from talking with Beauty to understand and succeed to improve Beast's appearance; she dislikes ponytails, flowers, and admires tough appearance.
Beast must not have ponytail and flower parts, and must at least have some Megachiraptora details and some weapon parts on his body to make him appear tougher. Parts like mouths, eyes, feet, or other details aren't necessary to replace and/or add to make Beast look tough enough to convince Beauty, and may be added for purely cosmetic looks.
After successfully improving his beastliness, Beast will attempt to approach Beauty and persuade her to recognize him. He jumps to the air and flies around to convince her, and she swoons in love and is again convinced that he is fact Beast, and as a result Beast and Beauty reunite together. He didn't expect how it worked for him, and how ferocious he looks now. He thanks the Sporeling for his help. Beauty feels very happy to see Beast come back to the Valley and curious where his former appearance went.
