Alright, considering the fact that many users have come and gone over the past year, new nations have formed, old ones have collapse or disappeared, etc., not even considering the cleanslate at all, I've pretty much decided that the Milky Way needs a new political division map.
Just for reference.

The above map, which is about a year old (with a minor adjustment made sometime in February), while extremely good (credit to Wormulon!) is also extremely outdated. Simply look at it, and you'll realize that most empires displaced by the cleanslate are nonexistent on this map (for obvious reasons), in addition to the fact that several empires and nations on the map are either inactive and have been for several months, or they are simply dead.
So, I am asking that everyone that has some nation or involvement in the Milky Way comment and inform me where exactly their nation is. I won't have a blank Milky Way template until later in the day (Um2k9 has offered to make one off of Celestia), however in the meantime I could certainly start a list of what nations to include on the new map, and which ones not to include. Zeh All-Important List of Locations[]
- Zeh Borg- several dozen colonies in the center of their former territory
- Confederacy of Allied Systems- large portion of space near former Trucinex territory; most of the former Cognatus territory (with minor DCP and JSR settlements nearby).
- URC- small territory near human space
- Kicath Empire- unknown as of now
- Jovar Socialist Republic (happy Ghel? :P) - Most of the upper-mid Norma-Outer arm (up to the former Cognatus territories), group of colonies near the core.
- Joran Planet Alliance- lower Norma-Outer arm, bordering Gjigantrox space.
- Humanity- Just make them larger :P
- Tantalus
- TIAF- near JPA space; near former DCP space (but NOT in it!)
